this sketch is spot on [as is usual with Harry Enfield], there are loads of actors now jumping on the Gervais band wagon and trying to sound like him. Harry is just great at getting it right on just how fake people are, great clip.

When it comes to British comedy Harry And Paul have written the script in my very own opinion. You have to admire Ricky Gervais and his very own take on British comedy culture of the office, a class act by himself. People must remember, Each to there own. Not everyone will agree. But both are comical in there own way.

I think you’ve missed the point. They mocking the fact that Gervais does the same mannerisms (that were originally used with Brent) in all of his characters/performances. That’s a common criticism of Gervais- he can’t actually act anything other than a variation on Brent.

This is a spot-on impression of his Office-type comedy, and how he was when I saw some of the stuff with Karl Pilkington in it (which I couldn't bear so stopped watching and can't remember that much about). However, Extras, After Life, his stand-up are all pretty different to that.
I'm amazed people think this is taking the piss out of Gervais and his brand of comedy, to me it's an homage showing just why Ricky is so funny. It also shows that Harry & Paul are versatile, observant and very funny too.

This is a spot-on impression of his Office-type comedy, and how he was when I saw some of the stuff with Karl Pilkington in it (which I couldn't bear so stopped watching and can't remember that much about). However, Extras, After Life, his stand-up are all pretty different to that.

Unbelievably spot on
I'm amazed people think this is taking the piss out of Gervais and his brand of comedy, to me it's an homage showing just why Ricky is so funny. It also shows that Harry & Paul are versatile, observant and very funny too.
