Nice channel and videos you really can learn something from! There are a lot of trash martial arts-channel on RUclips, lucky you are not one of them. I go to a Taekwondo-club since I was 6 and you helped me very much, so thank you and keep going!;)
First of all congratulations for these excellent videos Master Woo I enjoy watching them here in Mexico. Although I'm going to have to differ because personally I cannot differentiate speed from strength I cannot separate them I was a competidor and speed was inseparable from strength that's just my humble opinion.
Jahen Arias the stronger kick should have more depth and contact time with the target, while the fast kick is more like at han. You can see him extending his hips and upper body in the stronger kick, so the kick becomes alot more Heavy
I am talking about the distance and alignments of the kick that you can manually create, compare between the cross and hay maker, both are punch but you should know the difference and when to use or what to choose.
Can anybody tell me if going completely horizontal with your body is considered good form? My teacher tells me to remain as vertical as possible but I find it difficult to kick High remaining vertical.
Twobarpsi by getting your body horizontal it helps maintaining balance, staying vertical reduces your balance when kicking since the weight distribution is unbalanced (you don't say lol), but getting horizontal increases the recovery time so yeah it has pros and cons but i personally prefer getting horizontal but not too much, maybe just diagonal lol
Good video love sidekick my favourite kick,I have powerful sidekick but like to get faster one,how comes you doing from back leg to easy to see coming, got to come from front leg great in side stance I personally like step up sidekick very powerful, but skipping one lot quicker disguised,
Tuit bal yop chagui is an unpractical kick. Chambering isn't applyable in a competitive fight. The only proper way to perform an Yop chagui with your rear leg is by spinning back, period.
Daniel Fernandes If Mousasi had it right with "You can only fight the way you practice" then you should only practice things the way you will be using in a fight.
orafaelnl You are right! But we must train for fighting, to protect ourselves and also to show the Artistic part to other ppl, do yu know what i mean? 😃😋 (Not for ego, but for students)
orafaelnl There are times that chamber in can be used. One example is the following. Someone is standing close to you. You chamber the kick and rotate your body. This allows the sidekick to hit them in the body. Second example, step to the side and forward. As you step forward chamber your sidekick, then sidekick your opponent that is no longer in front of you but standing to your side. They become a target for the sidekick. There are more examples but this should help you to open your own mind to the possibilities. With all due respect, I hope this helps.
really revising my self training thanks master woo

theHoodie still even if it's fast it must have hip movement involved therefore strength.

orafaelnl okay, but we must practice

orafaelnl or in twieo yop chagi, kicking with the rear leg will add more momentum as you drive your knee up
