Hooj is a radiant level coach, he is able to elevate others to radiant, there's a difference in being radiant skill wise and actually being able to teach someone those skills.

Watching his games, streams, vod reviews. Woohojins problem is a mental one. He gets so tilted easily and starts playing dumb. Take a break from the game. Taking a break might make you reach your goals quicker. Remember that progress isn't always linear.

Idk if he is actually keeping it real when he blames his teammates and he is barely outfragging them while playing duelist. And he loves to gives others shit when ppl complain about teammates during VOD reviews. To me the issue I see with hooj is that he is way too good and way too bad according to him depending on if its convenient or not.

@@SB-mr2nk He tried and even showed his voice changer that he has been using for most of his climb when he stopped using it cause his voice is too recognizable due to how high quality his mic is. And when I was there I can tell he wasn't lying since u can easily still tell it is him.

Good on hooj for admitting that he's not good enough atm, but honestly duoing isn't bad it's just not a good look if your duo consistently outperforms you kda wise and you're the climbing duelist. I remember you even told Jey to get an op on reyna in a Bind game. Like bro DIY as much as possible even with a duo no? I might be off the mark but it feels like you're getting a little too pressured for your own good and you're not willing to take more risks in your gameplay to consistently carry in your lobbies.

been getting the same experience recently in gold where I drop 30 bombs and still lose. but I'm aware someone in plat would've dropped 40 and that's where I need to be to climb. regardless of team. Also being a duelist main can be so troll, people expect you to have double their kd or they don't try but is what it is.

The objective metric that sets all plats apart from golds is that they’d win more on average in gold lobbies. Not that they’d win every game. The skills that lend themselves towards that objective vary for each individual player.

JeyG hasn't been radiant on almost 2 years. He's been stuck immo2/3. This act he hasn't been able to climb out of immo1. That being said, he can't play with Hooj except maybe on Sunday because he's at work when Hooj plays.

Because the whole point of solo queuing to radiant is to sort of redeem and/or prove himself after he was outed for being boosted to radiant by, well, JeyG. While this isn’t exactly the same, as JeyG isn’t playing on his account directly, it’s also not what Woohoojin committed himself to. After all, If the challenge was to duoq with JeyG to radiant, I imagine it would be a much, much easier goal, for just about anyone. Wouldn’t really prove much either in regards to him really being a radiant level player.

Duoing isn't boosted, lol. JeyG actually originally hit Radiant duoing with Hooj while Hooj coached him.
That being said, they can't really duo often since JeyG works when Hooj plays, and actually hasn't been Radiant in 2 years. He's been immo 2/3 and has been stuck immo1 this act. Hooj just needed a mental reset this day after terrible games where he was near the top and the rest of his team was at the bottom, every game.

The whole purpose of this, is to see if he can get Raze (his worst agent) to radiant. It was just solo q but hooj didnt realise how big his reputation actually was. Leading to throwers, no comms and ppl who constantly ask "is this WOOHOOJIN?". He now looks to find ppl of a similar level to duo with, but still plays a lot of solo q.
While some of this is true, you are definitely doing some gymnastics to defend someone who mechanically speaking might just not be good enough to solo duelist to rad lol

Even if JeyG were currently Radiant, Hooj would still have to fight in that level of MMR for quite some time to hit the rank, and if he did so whilst performing normally (positive K.D, doing his agent's job) then there really can't be any complains.
