Your meet in the middle diagram reminds me of one of my favorite American football quotes: "If we're ALL wrong, then we're alright" (emphasizing that its better to have the whole team play together on the wrong play call, then have a single guy wrong on the right play call)
That's my main issue tbh. I'm always going, trying to clear when my whole team just stays back in main, chilling. It sucks that they don't enter but I just die for no reason. With no follow up.
Whoj, you always say that we should trust our team mates and I try to live by that rule. However, it very frequently happens that my team mates (if they comm at all, that is) make bs calls. I don't mean "bad plans", I mean calling out incorrect information. For example, today I was in a 1v1 (attacker, spike down) and my mate calls heaven. Obviously, I smoke and look to hold that smoke. You probably know where this is going, the last was on site and killed me. How should I deal with bad comms? just ignore them? Edit: I should clarify that I'm silver 3 so 90% of players straight up don't speak ever and it's genuinely rare that I play with someone who gives good comms or even tries to igl
There are multiple factors going into this and how the ghost call happened. But generally, this stuff happens. We are all human. Someone heard a step heaven, even though he was site. It's fine. Don't worry about it. You gotta reset and plan for the next round. Don't get mad at them in VC, don't call them out. Think forward. Next Round.
Listen to every comm. I’d be willing to bet that your teammate’s comms are accurate or semi-accurate more often than not. If you listen to a bad comm and die to it, brush it off because it isn’t your fault. it feels like a bigger problem than it is though, because it’s easier to remember the 3 times you die to a bad comm, rather than the 30 times that you get solid information that wins you a round or doesn’t affect the outcome of the round. if you were to, for example, not listen to any teammate’s comms, you may not have bad information 10% of the time, but you would also be missing out on crucial information 90% of the time.
you should always take the call for granted. whenever it's a wrong call, brush it off. don't develop a bad habit just because it works on lower ranks, as it's gonna get harder to fix it the more you play.
you have to get to gold first to get coaching generally. at this point you should be focusing almost exclusively on building up your mechanics so coaching wont do much.
@@matthulm5828 thx I'm already working on that i have like 15-25% headshot every match also keeping my aim always head level with keeping my crosshair lit away from cover while holding angles
@@exodia_right_leg I saw that but it doesn't feel like a real attempt. It went from ranked nonstop until i redeem myself to going back to what he was doing before.
@@exodia_right_leg The point is that is not being true to his word...again. I like Woohoo and he has helped me become a better player. But getting called out for a lie, making a promise of a redemption, and then spending all his time going back to coaching/playing a coding game is not a good look. I think he realized he can still have a successful business/community and doesn't need to put in the effort or restore his credibility.

In overwatch I learned "everyone following a bad plan is better than a couple people following a good plan

Woohoojin's coaching is just much better now. Its like he has evolved
He gone beyond man! He is now a woman!
He's a plantain now
The best advice I've ever heard that applies to every team game:
It's better to make a bad play together than a good play alone.
10:10 Woodrow zone. Woodrowing. I like that.
I'll start calling it that even if I'm the only one that'll understand.
This is the exact problem i struggle with - indecision and call conflicts

call them out for bad comms in a polite way
