Not a med student. Just a random person on the internet and this was explained so well. I can tell you understand the process very well to relay it with such clarity.
hello sir I am in my MSC GENETIC ENGINEERING FIRST YEAR ALL MY BASICS OF BIOLOGY OF IMMUNE SYSTEM SUBJECTS ARE CLEARED BECAUSE OF YOU THANK YOU SOOO MUCCH ALL the best ?
Thank you so much ...it helps me a lot i m a biotechnology student ...n u explained it so well my all doubts abt this topic are cleared now ....keep growing sir ....🙏😊
Good explanation, as usual. HOWEVER, according to Campbell Biology (10th ed), "to become active, cytotoxic T cells require signals from helper T cells and interaction with an antigen-presenting cell." (pg 959) In other words, according to Campbell, cytotoxic T cells do not become active simply by binding to MHC I + antigen. They are activated PRIOR to that interaction with the infected cell, and that activation involves APC (macrophage or dendritic cell) and helper T cell. Can you make a video on this intial activation?
It's really fabulous sir ,, u really a good teacher .... My concept is built for u . And I suggest all my friends to subscribe ur channel and see ur lecture as well .. 🙏🙏🙏 great work thank u
Question. How does the T cell attract to the virally infected cell? And do they only attach if there is a viral peptide? Why? And how does the CD8 cell retain memory...Does the receptor change shape?
Cytotoxic CD8 T cells can be expanded during secondary responses? TcR binding MHC during antigen presentation in such responses would result dead antigen presenting cells?
Sir your teaching is very well...we learned so many topics but sir I request you plz some times you should explain in Hindi it's also help to unother ones students whose not understand English proper.thank you !!
what i don't understand is, the cd8 t cells reside in the lymph node so what cause them to go in circulation to look for infected cells? do they need antigen presentation by APC first ?
So are t cells (both helper and cytotoxic) antigen specific or they stay naive? Is TCR capable of recognising different antigens or are there different TCRs that recognise a single antigen
Shomu... Have you looked into Dr.Tulio Simoncini's Sodium Bicarbonate cure for cancer? Have you ever conducted a personal experiment observing how Sodium Bicarbonate interacts with cancer cells? If not, could you perform the experiment and inform me of your results?
i never liked immunology but after watching ur videos. each and every concept is clear and now i love immunology subject
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
you are great at delivering clear concepts . full respect .
shomu i love you, bro. You should totally publish a book for graduates and postgraduates.

Shomu, thanks, you are doing a great job. Pls in the case of lassa fever, how will the t cells play their role in the cell killing?
very helpful sir...
but what's the used of IL-1 and IL-2 in killing the virus?
Thank you! I get it now!

Can our cytotoxic t cells able to kill onco cells. Which were formed early 🤔🤔
what i don't understand is, the cd8 t cells reside in the lymph node so what cause them to go in circulation to look for infected cells? do they need antigen presentation by APC first ?
That is correct
How different are CD4 and CD8 activation mechanisms? I don't understand how similar/different they are
So are t cells (both helper and cytotoxic) antigen specific or they stay naive? Is TCR capable of recognising different antigens or are there different TCRs that recognise a single antigen
Are cytotoxicity and anti-proliferative activity same? plz answer.
Is the adapted from the ted talk sound?
No

Nk cells kill target cell with mhc on the surface
I WANT TO KNOW THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF CYTOTOXIC T CELL

Hi
It has no tcr or cd3 it has only CD 16 and 56
It is only killing. :(
You confuse it by talking to much
