In the past 50 years, I've had more than a passing interest in UFOs, but have never heard of this one. This was quite a unique encounter. I don't believe most sightings are real, or are mistaken identities, but I'd put this on the list of verifiable sightings and interactions. There was another over Alaska just like this, witnessed from a JAL 747 cargo plane.
was there some agreement, regarding the jal alaska incident, that the ufo item might likely have been the yet-to-be- revealed b2 stealth bomber usa?
Also in Spain, on 31 January 1978, AVIACO flight 502 underwent a space-time alteration also certified by ground controllers and subsequent investigations.

Can you do more recreations of civilian and military encounters with UAPs? Specifically events that include pilot observation, ground visual observation and radar hits on objects? Would it be possible to couple a camera view to the UAP position to give an idea what the movement characteristics would look like from a first person perspective?
If that is too much work to do alone, I and another RUclipsr could possibly aid in case information data collection and organization.

Definitely a USAF dark project. A predecessor to the Nighthawk perhaps. Gathering intel on its radar-evading capability while flying with its nav light on.
