I like the idea of throwing a ball (with internal rotation) but to which point am I aiming to throw/release. Above the flag? At the target? At a point in front of the ball (in which case how far away from the ball) or at the ball please?
I've been playing golf for over 65 years. I'm left handed but play fight handed because I didn't have access to left handed clubs when I started. I do most other activities left handed like throwing a ball so right handed throwing isn't natural. Is there another exercise to help getting the clockwise motion ingrained in my swing. Also, how much swing speed should expect at 81 years old? I still play an average of three times a week.
@@RHrebel it’s impossible for me to say without seeing your swing or knowing your fitness level but I can tell you that I just had a 79-year-old here who hit a 305 yard drive this week after switching over to trail hand dominant
You never want to try and hold your wrist angle. If you feel you have to your lower body isnt doing its job. Many greats such as Nicklaus felt they actually tried to get rid of the wrist angle immediately from the top because their lower body movement was so aggressive
I have been part of RotarySwing and tried to learn the swing several times. I am lefthanded, but swing right-handed. What I loved about your technique is that you're always talking about pulling and not pushing. So using mostly the left side. I have seen so many videos where you show I can hardly have my right hand on the club, which has been music to my ears, and now in this video, you say 2/3 come from lag and flicking the right wrist? I can not use my right wrist as you are showing here. that would mess up my swing, I have no control over my right arm. No feelings at all... so now Im really confused. I try and hit with my legs mostly... hmmm
THe part unspoken is that....how does anyone know when they've reached their potential best? No one can truly answer that. The way I see it, we all want better....so it's not easy to tell yourself that you've put out maximum effort in bringing the club to contact. The poll is kind of bogus...but the theory is great.
is This a Right side move a la Tiger or left side a la Ernie Els? Or is this a Lower body swing or right arm into body swing tks Sal

I’ve been try to stop the arms from starting the swing will this be an issue?
Im a right handed player with rotator cuff issues on the right shoulder so I’m limited on my turn. Is it still possible to ever get any better
can I do this using a more setup for impact/mo norman type swing? Old and trying to save my back.
When you let your wrist set naturally, do you hold that set or just let it unset on its own?

Well darn…was hoping this would provide me info on how to get more clubhead speed…I’m already doing this….guess I’ve topped out! LOL…

Agree 100% to be consistent he should be prefacing these videos with lead arm and/or trail arm context.

I am a left handed person who learned to golf righty this throw concept doesnt work well
I think if you keep your left arm straight and move it inside out, the right elbow will naturally fall into the “right elbow into your side” position.
