Hey Chuck! Been working on these 3 moves for 3 weeks now without playing, only drill. Was kind of concerned applying on the course because I had a tournament this Saturday. Anyway, I didn't bring my driver but literally hit it farther than any prior driver swings. I normally hit my driver about 240, but was reaching 500 plus par 5s in 2 with my 3 wood!! My swing thought was transfer weight, load glutes, and clear left hip. Was hitting my 8 iron 160, normally 145. The dead drills were so difficult at first, but after a week, it began to feel more natural. Truly appreciate your RUclips channel! Improved my score by 7 strokes without my driver, 79!!
This video is gold. Great description of sequencing. Amazing story BTW about your neck fusion, that must have been such a challenge to overcome. All the best!
Hi Chuck Many thanks for trying to help us wannabe golfers.I went to the range today to try your stopping the over the top methods.Unfortunately nothing worked and I came home with my usual bad aching back. With all respect I think all you great teachers just dont quite realise how ingrained these awful over the top swings are that we own.If you could find some way to really stop the over the top move then you will stand out so much more from the coaching crowd and make millions of over the top golfers happy.Best wishes Tim Hayes Virginia Water (near Wentworth golf club UK
Check out the goat theory video. You’re over the top because you dont know how to use your body for power so yourself pulling hard with your left side. Use the sidearm throw i talk about with an active right hand release in the goat theory vid and you will shallow out immediately
many thanks for coming back to me Chuck. I did your club drop drill but did not drop the club enough and also I now realise I did not rotate the club on the downswing after the arm drop.Theres hope for me yet. Broken back L2 vertabre SNAPPED, two torn rotator cuffs BOTH SHOULDERS left hip replacement and dodgy knees BUT i WONT GIVE UP UNTIL i HAVE A PROPER GOLF SWING.@@Rotaryswing
@@timhayes629 hang in there! It’s not rocket science. It’s always just battling with your mind and body for power. You feel the need for power and if you dont have it you will manufacture ways to get it and this is what leads to most swing faults
thanks for taking the time to reply once again.Iwill now be using right hand throwing motion which I noticed keeps that dreaded heave ho of the right shoulder back.Using the left hand I realise pulls that right shoulder outwards not downwards@@Rotaryswing
Chuck, is this Left side Dominant as Opposed to right side as in your difference between Tiger and Ernie's Swings? Sorry ,I'm Confused easily, Sorry, Sal P
I'm a big fan my friend, but Ben Hogan's "Fundamentals"is and will always be the bible of golf, his teaching of the plane is still the single most important swing thought. Keep up the good work,us seniors will all benefit from your system most!
How does this old marketing video relate to the changes you’re espousing now with Axiom and GOAT method. I can’t tell if what you teach now is still the same as before. Obviously I understand evolving and becoming more enlightened but maybe explaining the differences from the past teachings and how to modify or blend it with the new teachings would be helpful.
If you watch the video and go to his website is second lesson talks about hitting the ball with the back of your left hand, all swings eventually roll release, this guy teaches the easiest swing to learn quickly
@@steveberelo245 thanks Steve. I suppose all swings require getting weight onto your front foot - doesn’t make all swings stack & tilt (my point is ‘when’ things occur does matter). I watch porzak golf’s vids and saw someone’s recommendation of rotary as the teachings are similar. I do enjoy the right shoulder blade retraction tip. Don’t know about wanting the easiest swing to learn quickly though… most optimal swing with the least manipulation overall sounds better. I’ll watch a bit more.
I'm Hogan man myself, however it takes good flexibility to execute, but once you learn it it's a physical pleasure, is fundamentals produce the most accurate ball flight known. Proof was in but Ben Hogan's accuracy, sports illustrated printed a story talking about how Ben Hogan could go 72 Holes without missing a green. However I'm not a big fan of stack & tilt, swing disintegrates when you aren't on flat ground. Bringing both left and right misses. Into play. Rotary golf has just simplified Hogan's winding technique, using sit to square instead of driving down the left heal. Rotary fails in its dismissal of the importance of the plane on the backswing.
@@steveberelo245 oh I’m not stack and tilt either - I just used that example in response to you mentioning that all swings eventually roll release. I have good flexibility, strength, etc so I’m not looking for a shortcut to good golf either. Just bought a hard copy of hogans five fundamentals actually.
I was in 8th handicapped in 1979, when one of the caddies I worked with gave me Ben Hogan's five modern fundamentals to golf. In four months I was a-2. I almost gave up my full-time job but my wife got pregnant for the second time, and the rest is history. To this day I find things in that book that help me, and they've been there all along, LOL Take every single word he says literally, he means every single word he says, you will see daily transformation of your swing. Once you've mastered it, it's so easy to repeat. The best part of the swing is the more pressure you apply the better it gets

There's literally a video on exactly that: rotaryswing.com/c4/112549-how-does-the-goat-code-fit-with-dead-drill-axiom
is this promoting a roll release?
