Wow,thank you so much for this, I travel from South Africa in may and connect in Miami en route to Tampa & this is really so helpful because airports just stress me out. Many thanks🇿🇦
@@poinoru Aawww, thank you so much, I'm actually leaving today, I hardly slept cos I'm stressing about the trip. Looking forward to seeing my grandbabies so the long 33hr trip will be so worth it🙏😊
Thank you so much for this content! I have non english speaking family coming in through Miami this upcoming weekend and they are nervous about the trip. Now I can help them prepare and have a smooth arrival. I am just missing the connecting flight portion now lol
I have international flight connections in Miami later in the year. While you didn't go through the whole process, you did provide excellent information up to the point where I saw the directing sign for American and British Airways. Thank you very much.
This is really helpful, thank you! The long walk actually puts me at ease about my transfer - I’m a Londoner so I naturally speed walk, which will help me get a bit ahead of any long queues at least 🤣
On 2022 I also encountered the same predicament, I arrived from Mexico and like you after walking like 1 mile and after 30 minutes, the luggage was not there and I needed to wait another 30 minutes for the conveyor to start rolling, crazy.
My parents and I came to the Miami International Airport back in 1992 to pick up my aunt and uncle and cousins after they arrived back from a trip to Jordan. I do kind of recognize little bits and pieces of it from how I remember the airport looking back then, even though it has had some renovations between then and now.
I live in Los Angeles, and this Friday I will be flying from lax to Miami and from Miami to Jacksonville, Florida, it will be my first time going to Florida, I hope me and my parents don't go through this
I flew American Airlines. Arriving and connecting in Miami from an international flight is a disaster. After you go through customs retrieve your luggage and proceed to TSA, it's terrible because there are no separate lines for TSA Clear or Pre-check. Everyone is packed into one line category. If Miami is your final destination, it's okay minus the long walk to customs, if you're connecting I would try to avoid Miami airport.

10:20 you follow the blue lane for connecting flight instead then
Thank you, much appreciated😊. God bless🙏
I agree, especially solo traveling and at a new airport it can be intimidating/daunting
ENJOY AMERICA

Thank you for this video. This airport is so intimidating and I'm landing there in four days 😮
Long lines but moves fast
Funny that I’m from Belize city and trying to plan out my trip and here you are, arriving from my home
Thank you for a good video.
Thank you for sharing this. Now I have an idea on how to make my way through that airport…today!

Wow, that curve walkway to main terminal from immigration arrivals. :P
You had transportation tram and then train to city. :)

You gotta check out Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami.
Yes it’s super nice
This makes me feel sad when I come back to Florida 🇺🇸 from Dhaka Bangladesh 🇧🇩 visiting
You missed LATAM Airlines in your list

This is only for flights coming from a different country. If you never left the US you won’t do this process.
