    Really helpful video thank you! Which station should I get off at if I want to connect to the brightline?

    • @fonsecarichard
      @fonsecarichard  День назад

      Hi, Im happy that you liked the video. 😊 To get to the Brightline train you can get off at the government center station and take a walking bridge to the Miami Central station which is where the Brightline train is located. The bridge is located right in the government center and takes you directly inside right the Miami Central station. I created a video that shows you the opposite, going from the brightline to government center using the bridge, but you can view it to give you an idea. The following link should take you right to the timeframe where I show the bridge.
      m.ruclips.net/video/x7HCRd7yZ-I/видео.html
      You can also get on the free metromover at the government center and then get off at the Wilkie D. Ferguson, JR metro mover station. The metro Mover is a free people mover system.
      The following link should take you right to the timeframe where I show the Wilkie D. Ferguson, JR metro mover station. I also go inside to give you a small tour of the brightline station.

    How far away is the Delta baggage claim from the Mia Mover entrance? Loved your video

    • @fonsecarichard
      @fonsecarichard  18 дней назад

      Thank you! It should take you around 10 minutes or so to walk there. Be sure to wear your tennis shoes. hehe.. If you can't walk that far, you can ask an airport employee to help you get there via a wheelchair. They also have these cool autopilot wheelchairs. PS. The Delta baggage claim is on Level 1. You will need to get on Level 3 by escalator or elevators. Access to MIA Mover is located on the 3rd level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garage. There are signs everywhere, but I highly recommend that you ask someone for directions while you're waiting for your baggage. It will save you some time. 😀 Please feel free to ask me anything else. Thank you. 😀And I hope you enjoy our beautiful Miami.

      @fonsecarichard 1 last question. When taking the metro rail to get to bayside marketplace what is the closest station? We're staying at the holiday inn port of Miami. Green line or orange line? You're so helpful

    • @fonsecarichard
      @fonsecarichard  14 дней назад +1

      @@karamartinez5930Hi thanks for the question. The closet metrorail stop to your hotel would be the government center. It’s about 7 blocks and takes around 15 mins to walk. What you can do is get off the metro rail stop at government center and catch the metro mover to the college bayside station. This will literally leave you on the same block of your hotel. Will be like a 1 minute walk lol. To catch the metro mover all you have to do is use the escalators and it’s right there. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you 😊

      Hi @sweetauntbuddy. Thank you for your kind words 😃👍. And yes bring your tennis haha. Lots of walking. And if you're going to the Port you will need them for the Cruise ship, hehe. As for the trolley, you are correct! The Coral Way trolley can be caught right at the Government Center, it will take you straight to the port. The best part of this trolley is that it's free! hehe. I will do another video with me catching the trolley. I will try to do it soon so you can see if before you go on your cruise. Would u suggest taking this with bags and luggage from airport to hotels near cruise port

    • @fonsecarichard
      @fonsecarichard  3 месяца назад +1

      @@haloall8465 Hi 👋. Yes, most of the hotels near the cruise ports are in the downtown/brickell area. So If your hotel is in the downtown/brickell area then you can get the metro-mover, which is that small people mover that’s shown in the very end. If your hotel is a little further away, meaning not in the downtown/brickell area, then you can call an Uber or Lyft from the government center which is where you would catch the metro-mover. It will be cheaper this way instead of just taking the Uber from the airport. Special note: all of these trains have special sections for your luggage. Feel free to ask me anything else 🤗

      Hi Brenda, I think you read my Crystal ball hehe😃. I was thinking of doing a full tour of the metro mover next week. I'm thinking of getting off at all the major stops and showing the major destinations. That said is there anything you would like to see in it? Or do you have any ideas/suggestions for any other videos? I've lived in Miami all my life and have taken the public transportation system since, I believe I could walk haha. My grandpa would take me everywhere back then, even all the hoods as people like to call them. hehe. I remember when the Metro rail was brand new and no one used to take it, we used to play hide and seek with 2 groups of friends. One team would get on the train and off we went to hide. The other team had to figure out what stop we were at. If they wouldn't stop at our stop we would poke our heads out when their train left haha. Thanks for reading all of this. lol Let me know of any videos suggestions. I really like doing these videos. ☺

You can jump through the video using the chapters/sections on the video. The sections/chapters are broken up by the station names.
