This is in gta 6
I can't imagine anything being free. What a great city Miami is!
it saves on so much congestion
Great video explaining how to use the metromover and I'm one of those people whom have actually used this system various times but I'm not an expert at using it therefore I have made some mistakes taking the wrong routes, etc. But all in all the metromover is the best thing downtown has to offer and I'm supportive of the experience for locals and tourists alike
Brought back memories. I used to ride it to downtown Miami Dade college campus when I was young and lived in Miami Springs. Took the metro train to government station and walked to people mover connection to class. Thanks for the video. We’ll done
Thank you for giving us an early preview of GTA VI. Can't wait!
Thats why im here lol
I am here for that too.
😢😢😢😢
When I attended MIAMI DADE COLLEGE, my friends and I were forever on the METRO MOVERS lol...
We used to get on the Metro Mover at the OMNI station after the mall/movies and ride all over downtown back in the days.
Metromover is great. I still dont get it why people drive around downtown Miami with the traffic and having a terrible time finding a parking spot
Because you need to park somewhere near a station anyways
100%!!! We learned our lesson on our previous trip to Miami. We rented a car at the airport. First and last time we ever do that. $350 for 5 days plus $40 to fill up the tank at the end. Close to $500 for transportation during my stay in Miami when you factor in the Pay-To-Park spots 😒🤦🏻♂️
You did an absolutely awesome job in explaining how the Miami Metro mover works. I have always wondered how that system worked.
It is certainly a great way to get around the city of Miami
The fact that it is absolutely free to ride is another great thing I have difficulty walking long distances. This actually makes it a lot easier for me to get around the city of Miami whenever I am there I have not been there in a few years however, I hope to make it back to Miami someday soon me and my mother used to always go to Miami a few years ago, we had family members that lived in Miami
Thanks Joel for another fascinating video
What a neat form of transportation - thanks for the info/video!
Thanks for the info/video. Miami is a beautiful city. Hopefully, one of these days, my wife and I can visit Miami. We are from Texas.
Amazing 😻 I always take it to go around downtown Miami
The public service announcement lady sounds just like the same one here in New York City. Lol!
I guess that's because she's not a real lady... like Google's 😄.
I use Metromover often and love it!
We rode from Brightline to Brickell a few weeks ago and then planned to go and vlog all 3 loops like you did, but the system went down. Great vlog Joel! Still hoping to see you on the Brightline Orlando to Miami trip in a few months when it opens up!
Aw man that sucks. Those things go down every now and then like the Metrorail. & for sure! I’ll def be on that first ride to/from Orlando 🚆
@@JoelFrancoVlogs Ok thanks for the info.....we should vlog together or we will pass each other on the tracks! Our Brightline videos start tonight!
thank you so much for this video!
I'm a local and I rode it for the first time last Thursday. I was coming from South Beach via the 14 bus route. My destination was Goverment Center but I didn't want to get on the 100 route(crowded). My only complaint about the Omni is the stairs.
Great video very informative
Thanks for the gta 6 gameplay feature showcase jokes aside this is really helpfull going for xmas lol
Can you live in Miami without a car can't drive anymore plus do the have a residential RV park near the transportation
im staying at the brickell area going to ultra !
which line for tootsies?
I rode it around a lot when there, it kind of fun and is free.
No one’s gonna mention the Mclovin shirt?
So miami has a people mover and a subway system?
Hello, how about miami night?😊
that station at the end, the 5th street station, is super high up. I nearly have panic attacks trying to go down those stairs. Don't exit there if you afraid of heights!
seems like it would be impossible for old people to use. i can't imagine an older person trying to get up all those stairs.
Growing up in Miami, we always used it & metrorail to go to Heat games in the old arena also to go to calle ocho & Bayfront park festivals.
@@commanderrussels2612 All of the Metro stations in Miami are ADA Compliant so they have Elevators.
Don't panic if you mess up a few times and go the wrong way. You will get used to it!
It works very well except for when it doesn't work, but when it works properly it works.
No that was perfect- I feel fully prepared now.
Does the tri rail connect to the metro mover at any of the stations?
It does not. You can transfer from tri rail to Metrorail into downtown to then use the metro mover.
Is this free transportation also a thing in fort Lauderdale for example? On only strictly in Miami city ?
No thats only in Downtown Miami Area its not even on the rest of Miami
What is your opinion of the City decision to have the Metro-Mover provid transportation to and from Miami Beach? vs Monorail
Almost all Public transit in Miami is run by the County Government so they are the ones who decided to extend Metro-Mover to Miami Beach so it has nothing to do with the City of Miami. As for the Monorail it was a proposal by developers who wanted to build Casinos which aren't Legal in Florida so that plan died when they were rejected by the State.
@@xoxxobob61 Didn't the Miami-Dade County Commissioners approve the Miami Beach link as a monorail, or did I misunderstand the reporting?
@@CreightonRabs Yes they initially approved the Monorail but that plan died so they opted to extend the Metromover instead. Metrobus carries about 14,000 passengers a day from the Beach to downtown & that really is more than enough to warrant a Metro Rail extension.
Personally I'd say this is a much better decision, you never want to clutter a transportation network with tons of different systems, that just adds unnecessary complexity in managing (think things like maintenance) and it obstructs connectivity by forcing you to transfer between multiple entirely different track systems just to exchange branches. It was definitely a smarter move to expand the existing metromover system than to create a whole new monorail.
i love strange automated gadgetbahns
I stayed in downtown Miami for a month recently, and it's nice, but it moves like 2 turtles per hour. 🤣
That's probably the best public transportation in the state
Are there alot of bad neighborhoods going through the train system.
Not the metromover.
No but you’ll pass through the hood on the metroRAIL. But nothing to freak out over. People mind their own. It’s the busses going to south beach that can be filled with crackheads but they’re funny crackheads😂😂😂
Just like Sunway BRT and KL monorail.... 5.4km and 8.6km😂😂😂
Metro Rail has a motorman and a conductor.
Why so small and no seats?
There’s a limited amount of seats. It doesn’t go a long distance - just a loop around downtown
GTA 6 IRL
Grand Theft Auto 6
I'm going to Miami. I'm going to ride the train instead of taking an Uber just to see what it's like.
Gta 6 metro
Not worth living in Florida even with this
I enjoyed the video. I will most likely watch this video again when I plan to go there and see it myself. 🚂🚃🚃🏝
