Thank you for posting this. It’s hard to find deboarding videos. They are helpful for someone that plans on traveling to a place. They’re not familiar with.
love the video! I’m flying back to the uk from korea in june and I can’t wait! I have autism and this will be my second time flying alone, so it’s comforting/useful to watch videos like this before I go, it helps me prepare myself. so excited to get home! :)
@@WheresMyMap We also have autism, so your video helps immensely. I only wish you had walked to the Hilton Garden Inn Terminal 2, but people tell me it's not hard to find.
Well done for putting up this video this is so helpful if you ever came into Heathrow from this side and its from the plane you filmed well done not many show you from off the plane arrivels well done ❤
Flown into terminal five Heathrow on British Airways many times. What I like about the Business Class is the arrivals lounge. After completing customs and immigration proceed to what we in America would call the second floor, which is really labeled the first floor above the ground floor. Existing the elevators & to your right is the arrivals lounge where you will find complementary showers, snacks, hot foot /drinks and a place to relax.

Good video. Pretty fancy airport. I know obviously you don't want to put your personal info on youtube but I was kind of hoping to hear what kind of questions they ask at security and customs, so I can mentally prepare. I'll be landing there at the end of this month (sept 2024). Also your audio was starting to loop there at the end.
Great video, thanks for posting! It's a great resource. I was wondering what camera/device you did your videoing with and how it's mounted or held? The quality is very good.
have you done a virtual tour for terminal 3? i'm flying back to england soon but i always get lost even though i've already flown a few times, this is the first time i'm flying by myself so i'm a bit nervous
Glad it helped! I didn't time it, but probably about 40 minutes. The big dependencies are how long the passport line is (not long when I was there), and how quick the baggage comes out (mine was waiting for me). -WMM
@@WheresMyMap This is also what I like to ask, about time. So it still took you around 40 mins even your eGate line was not long and baggage was there already! Thanks for the information.
Hello, Thank you for the fun video! I have a question. I’m planning on taking the National Express Coach from terminal 2. Is it down there where it says “Buses”? (14:48 )
Wow I love this video, its so helpful! 😍 I have a question... Do you know if the passport control (immigration), for brazilian tourists for example, is open 24 hrs on T2?
Not sure about passport control hours - I'd check with Heathrow's website, but it seems to me that they'd be open to accommodate any international flights, otherwise imagine the confusion. -WMM
Thank you for this informative video, but what about customs? I have a work visa and this is my first time moving to London. Is there anything that i need to know? Thanks
Hi, i will visit london in april, my friend will pick me up at short stay parking area. I wonder is it easy to find short stay parking area after i am through the customs? And how long i have to walk ? Thanks in advance.
Heathrow Short Stay Parking is a convenient and affordable option for travelers using Heathrow Airport. Here are the key details: What is Short Stay Parking? Location: Just a 2-minute walk from the terminals, Short Stay parking is ideal for meeting or dropping off passengers. It’s also a great choice for short trips or business meetings. Booking: You can pre-book Short Stay parking in advance for durations over one hour, up to two hours prior to your arrival (subject to availability). Convenience: The Short Stay car parks are located close to the terminal doors, with designated spots for Disabled and Parent & Child parking. Security: Regular security patrols and up-to-date technologies ensure passenger safety. Booking Options: You can either pre-book online using the “Get a parking quote” widget or simply turn up on the day1. Pricing for Heathrow Short Stay Parking (Effective from January 4, 2023): 0 - 29 minutes: £6.00 30 - 44 minutes: £9.50 45 - 59 minutes: £12.70 1 - 2 hours: £16.00 2 - 3 hours: £19.40 3 - 4 hours: £23.30 4 - 5 hours: £29.30 5 - 6 hours: £37.70 6 - 9 hours: £51.40 9 - 12 hours: £67.30 12 - 24 hours: £83.30 Each additional 24-hour period: £83.30 Overheight vehicle tariffs vary by terminal1. Picking Up Passengers: If you’re picking up passengers, Short Stay parking is one of the easiest options. Drive into the car park, take a ticket, and pay at one of the on-foot machines upon exit1. Electric Vehicle Charging: Unfortunately, Heathrow doesn’t currently provide EV charging facilities in the Short Stay car parks. If you’re driving an electric vehicle, make sure to charge it adequately before arriving at the airport1.
Wow, Heathrow has infuriatingly disappointed me. Just like London-Stansted, Heathrow sends their passenger arrivals to one massive passport control gate. What is it with my country that has this stupid idea to make people suffer by dragging them through an unnecessary massive maze and queue with every other arriving passenger coming through the terminal? Its like herding cattle. Certainly feels like herding cattle. They do this at Stansted, but the queue their is usually far worse crammed with hundreds of people. If you arrive at a sensible airport, like Barcelona in Spain or Hanover in Germany, as soon as you disembark the plane and enter the terminal building, you immediately enter passport control. The only queue are those from the plane you've just disembarked - quicker, and gets the passport hassle over with sooner. The only good thing I can say about Heathrow T2 is it seems clean and well maintained.
If you book far in advance, the Heathrow Express can be a pretty good deal, especially considering how modern and cushy it is. A month out it tends to be £15 each way, or three months out it can be £5. Of course it also matters where you’re going. The Express ends at Paddington, so if you’re staying anywhere other than west London you’ll need another train anyway.
Hi, just want to ask. Are all liquids must be put in our hand luggage for security check? How if we put it in our trunk. Thanks before and i'm really love ur video🎉

It's not your decision - it's theirs. Just follow the signs according to what type of passport you have (UK EU, all passports, etc) and if you need a stamp, they will stamp it. If not, they won't.

hey! i’m taking the national express clash also? how long did it take you to get there?
Seems to be a long way to go for baggage claim from plane, surely they can make a better way that’s faster
One would think so ...
It takes a long time to unload the baggage from the plane.
So they make you take a looooong walk to give the handlers time to do their job.

Heathrow does not normally have any arrivals between 23:00 and 0:430 the next morning. Passport control is always in operation after any arrivals.
It’s pretty big
As a US citizen did you have to show your passport to an immigration officer or just through the digital scanner?
My experience was to use the passport scanner, and if that didn't work (it didn't) then be redirected to talk to an officer. -WMM

When deboarding through a jetway how is arrivals and departures separated
When you enter the building from the jetway, you immediately take the escalator up one level, above the level that contains the departure gates.

How long from getting off the airplane to leaving the terminal ?
