Also doing mine tomorrow. It was leaking fuel from the bottob of the seam. Prized it apart with a spatela and hammer. Cleaning it out with a dremel. Gonna use some type of epoxy.

Can you give an update as to whether this held or not? Thank mine is leaking and try to figure out what to do.

Excellent repair, no leaks!. Hope I never have to split this tank again as that JB Weld sticks like sh@t to a blanket. It will never come apart.

Mine mixes fuel and bar oil and I'm not sure where to look
