What better place to shelter than the woods? Great informative video. 25 years ago when I was 18 or so I got the bright idea to hammer a screwumstick tween the tank halves to change the inner hose on my dad's SXL 925. At the time there was no internet & no Homelite dealers to speak of & I had no idea there were screws behind the flywheel. So I ended up with a 1/16 x 5/16 hole in the tank. 5 years ago when I went through the saw I spent countless hours with 220 grit & a thick piece of plate glass to true up the surface new gasket & allseal now good to go.

LEON, YOU SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE INNER TANK HOSE WITH A LITTLE LONGER ONE AND LEFT THE FILTER END ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TANK WHEN YOU PUT THE TANK SEALANT IN. THAT WAY THE SEALANT WOULD NOT HAVE ENTERED THE FUEL PASSAGE. JUST REINSERT THE HOSE AND FILTER AFYER ITS DRY.

I have a ms 361 rear hand gas tank that is leaking at the seams. The leaking seam is hard to reach. What do you recommend using to fix it? You know saws will not run, correctly, if the gas tank does not hold pressure. I replaced the tank on my ms 361 but I still have this tank and want to use it on another 361 I am building.

I got my first dose of COVID vaccine, last Friday, at my local VA Medical Center, second dose in a couple of weeks. No real problems with it. Was a little puny for a day or so, but that’s it.

I have a Craftsman Chainsaw that turns on, but once you rev it, it stays revving and I the only way to shut it off, is by using the kill switch. I think I lost the spring that used readjust the trigger.

Hey Leon! I love watching your videos I have a homelite c-52 my great grandpa bought brand new and when I started fixing it up I took the gas tank apart first and it had about 2inches of tar in the bottom of it and that was real fun to get out lol but it has gave me trouble running ever since I first started it like it was sucking air and I finally found the solution to it with the video you done on that super 1050 with the throttle shaft leak! Did you ever figure out a way to fix that carburetor?
    Thanks!!

    First lol
You're well aware there is a lot more bench there... it's there.
Doesn't want the saw taking up the whole bench lmfao that's a good one!!!
