I keep coming back to your video of The Butterfly Jig. I find the arrangement very haunting and love the playing of both musicians. It takes me to another place in my mind.

The Irish sound is so beautiful it has become ubiquitous in every modern-day fantasy RPG that has dragons in it. Maybe that's why listening to this makes me want to rest at an inn, drink some ale, and then fight some dragons.
actually in all these RPG games and stuff usualy don't use irish music but world music with celtic, slavic and scandinavian sounds combined (the best combo ever)
***** i find it a little out of place... but i am against the EU politics of mixing cultures, it's complete shit, the native cultures dissappear and are replaced with eastern/southern ones (that come along with imigrants from these regions)
the other bad thing is 'americanism' that is to melt all european cultures into just a single 'european' one (that was done in USA, so the name comes from this)
combination of harp & low whistle, priceless, tranquil, & all other good things words just can't paint.

I just love the way you two play .fantastic.I have a nephew that listens to your video Tin whistel & sofa video HE IS ONLY ! YEAR OLD HE LOVES THE BEAT .He also would fall asleep to it with a bottle when he was 6 months old.

The recording by Tommy Potts, the great Dublin fiddler who originally composed this very nice slip jig (yes! Don't just label this tune trad., it was really composed by Tommy Potts) was played much, much faster. You might even get shocked by that kind of speed.
