This is basically turning 40k into a skirmish game with oversized models. Love it.
Considering the oversized models don't get to see much play as a group in most games, this was exciting to watch, since each individual unit was so much more deadly and beautiful on the board.

Can we all just acknowledge how much more epic the effects get season by season and sometimes even from ep to ep? Bravo to the post-production!
Didn’t like the erratic cuts. It was extreme and Pointless in this episode. Show the dice result or not but don’t cut on the dice to cut away half a second before they stop falling.
Had it not been for PlayOnTabletop I would never had gotten into 40k.
loved the lore, but the gameplay on table just seemed so much work.

I just want to congratulate whoever is in charge of the special effects, its a small thing but the visual experience certainly improves tenfold
@@tawnykyle-cm5eq Nick built out all the shooting effects that are used. The sequence and assets are passed around from editor to editor depending on the show being cut together.

Dang, can't wait to see the battle on the beautiful board. Also, the fact that Nick, who is probably one of the most positive and passionate people I've ever met, and the reason I actually decided to start collecting Warhammer 40k minis (T'au to be precise) is taking part in this battle is amazing. Brilliant episode, the editor did a cracking job. You can see the anime influence in some of the edits. Can't wait to see more custom models in future battles!

I love what your team is doing. For as much skill and production value as you guys put out, what is at the forefront is your absolute passion for the hobby and community. As someone who is more new to 40k and tabletop gaming, every time Play On puts out a new video, I go straight back to painting that model I've been working on or reading the codex again because I get that excited for my next battle. Tau Nick Froese is one of the coolest people in 40k as far as I'm concerned. Any Video with Nick is good times.
I have to admit my favorite part is the big handshake and good luck. The last few games I've played at my LGS opponents have put me down, insulted me, and quit when they started losing or got more aggressive when winning. It's kind of put me off playing for a while, so that's sad, but this game makes me happy.
The Points say he lost, but that the Splitshots worked made him Win for me. Nick, I'm going to dedicated every split shot to you from now on that was Amazing hahaha.

"Play On Tabletop" is the best. Probably the easiest to watch and most digestible battle reps out there. I only wish they had more content to watch. But with the quality of there content I understand it takes time.

Knights versus Nids would be pretty epic. We do own three Bio Titans as well as a Reaver and Warlord Titan. I think a Warhound somewhere too.
