Один только АС Геринга, Ерих Хартман Летал на Мессере BF109, завалил на восточном фронте 352 саветских самолёта. а трижды герой ссср Кожедуб всего 64. До конца войны Хартманн совершил более 1400 вылетов, в которых провёл 825 воздушных боев, был сбит 14 раз (осколками сбитых им же самолётов противника), но благополучно приземлялся на парашюте.[10] Сам Хартманн часто говорил, что для него дороже всех побед тот факт, что за всю войну он не потерял ни одного ведомого.[9]
Последняя победа Хартманна была одержана в последний день войны в Европе - 8 мая 1945 года над чешским городом Брно. В тот день рано утром ему было приказано провести разведывательный полёт над позициями советских войск. Взлетев вместе со своим ведомым в 8:30, они заметили первые подразделения уже в сорока километрах от места вылета. Пролетая, Хартманн увидел два истребителя Як-7, выполняющих разные акробатические фигуры на потеху передвигающимся внизу войскам.[источник не указан 3727 дней] Полный решимости подпортить праздник, Хартманн нырнул вниз с выгодной ему высоты в 3700 метров и сбил первый истребитель с 200 метров. В момент прицеливания во второго он вдруг заметил мелькание маленьких точек над ним, передвигающихся с запада - это были американские Мустанги. Испугавшись возможности быть зажатым между советскими и американскими самолётами, Хартманн решил спуститься как можно ниже и уйти от погони в плотном чёрном дыму, висевшим над городом. Таким образом, атаковав советские истребители, Хартманн не только нарушил полученный им приказ о проведении разведывательного полёта, но и вступил в боевые действия уже после подписания 8 мая 1945 года в Реймсе акта о капитуляции Германии.
@@elektrotechnica2026 Хартман не завалил, а в том числе и просто подбил... а Кожедуб не подбил, а именно завалил, причём в счёт пошло только подтверждённое другими пилотами или наблюдателями с земли + фотоподтверждение, которое если не перестало работать и не было свидетеля, то в счёт не шло... 100500 раз уже методики подсчёта обсуждались в сетях... что конечно не умаляет ни качества нацистской техники, ни мастерства их асов, но и меру в дзюбо-фантазиях надо знать

In War Thunder I have managed to pull off part of this mission. Got good at smacking the tree tops. Not so good at landing in one piece though. :)
That tree snuck up on him, alrighty!
The G2 and the F2/F4 are my favorite 109s.

You can feel the aircraft's weight as it starts rolling for take off and the frame vibrating due to the running engine, very realistic. Hope dcs will have this.

ANZAC Washington that crash was not caused by the loop at all. Whilst the loop was a little too close to the ground for comfort, he wouldn’t have crashed had he just continued the path he was on. Instead, when he started to come back up he performed a controlled roll the right and began a horizontal turn. It was not a result of slipping or losing flight. It was just poor judgment of the aircrafts position relative to that tree

Vive is meh, literally the only thing that the Vive has that the Rift doesn't is room scaling. That's about it, if you like being able to walk around a 10 foot area, then pay $800 for the Vive. Otherwise, save your $200 and get a Rift.
Also, the developers of IL-2 BoS will be implementing full VR support before the summer (allegedly). First they have to move the game over to DX10/11 for Rift support and adequate Vive support.
Next DLC is Kuban following Battle of Moscow. I've heard a couple rumors of them doing the Pacific theater next. I sure hope that's true...
Playing it on the rift since a couple of months, VR support is fantastic, they nailed it. Tho I have more than ever hard times to ID aircrafts around me, I need IFF ^^'
i love the graphics but kids I was an Aviator/Navy Flight officer dor 13 years and you'd need an iron stomach to do this ;)

В странах Европы свастику изображать запрещено, поэтому в иностранных версиях игры свастики нету

Not really an effective combat style....overshoot all the time. Just use the flap and lower the speed.
Not to mention directly from behind is the worst engagement angle. The cannon rounds tend to deflect because they are low velocity. Better to maintain speed, and make sweeping passes. Generally speaking I concentrate fire on the pilot, it's the fastest way to bring a IL-2 down.
Jose Santich and you will FOD out your airplane from the pieces while you focus too much on matching speed. Plus you become energy limited and easy bait for any defenders!

I thought at the beginning how the pilot was hot dogging it a bit too much, he also got WAY to close before shooting for my liking, I suppose having an enemy that wasn't shooting back helped.
Still, great end to a great mission - two more kills for Grunherz !

What I read was his ground crew tracked his ammo expenditure and averaged 15 cannon rounds per kill. I think he had 158 at time of death.

Никчемный видос. На Ил-2 сзади был пулемет. И второй член экипажа - стрелок. К нему истребители сзади в принципе боялись заходить. Только сверху или снизу было безопасно. Учитывая "бреющий" полет "летающих танков" - 300-500 метров, снизу зайти было невозможно. Спереди и сзади - крайне опасно. Оставалось сверху. Но сверху сзади - простреливал пулемет, а сверху спереди - очень сложно и скоротечно. И тоже опасно - Ил мог задрать морду вверх и дать сдачи. А пикирующий заход отнимал много времени на набор высоты, сокращая количество таких заходов до прибытия подкрепления. А если летела группа штурмовиков - вообще туши свет, они могли прикрывать друг друга во всех направлениях (с боков в атаку не заходят, как правило). Так что весь видос - высосанный из пальца "пилотаж". Даже береза, сбившая "аса" - треш...
Ну ты дурачок 😅,по твоей тупой логике истребитель вообще получается не мог сбивать другие самолёты если они имели стрелка в задней или нижней полусфере.

Ну что за дятел?! Довыпендривался? Надо оно было?! В быстрых миссиях есть задача. Выполнил и домой. Попробуй повыпендривайся на каком нибудь сервере, где куча народа! BF-109 шикарная машина, но... Мессер летает либо высоко, либо недолго :) Бумзумить надо.
А почему илы так идиотски себя вели? Боты что-ли? Ясное дело одному штурмавику не угнаться за истебком, но вас трое! Средний так-же бы летел раскачиваясь, левый в лево закруть, правый в право. За тремя одновременно не угонешься. Любоя ошибка 109 или везение плюс мастерство штурмавику, и поймать его в перекрестье и всё, нет мессера. А они послущно как бычки на убой летят себе прямо. Вы же не бомбеоы епта. Да там куча вариантов. Вас же блин 3е.погнался бы он за фданговыми. Ну центральный за мин и за крутили бы его троем.
Тактика Ил-2 при встрече с истребителями противника, вставать в круг и прикрывая друг-друга оттягиваться на свою сторону за линию фронта, либо смыкание строя , но это уже для Ил-2 со стрелком. Игра только игра....один мессер против трёх Ил-2 вряд-ли вывез-бы...
Честно, стыдно за такой способ атаковать!

Нельзя так на Мессере летать, нельзя! Особенно на G2, какой смысл было брать "Густова", чтобы летать на нём как на Лавке?

Man, this was an excellent video Zetexy. It's one of the most realistic flight Sim's I've seen to date. Love the 109's engine kicking over. The way the cylinders fire on the side is fantastic. I thought of getting this Sim but was not sure if my machine can run it fast enough and smoothly. Great job.

Stalin gave the tree a medal, then had it chopped down six months later because he thought the tree was getting too much glory from it.

One thing most Americans don't ever think about is that we have huge oceans on either side of us and have never been in any real danger of an invasion in modern times. On the other hand every country in europe lives with the knowledge that the communists were either on the other side of the border or just a few hours away. In the 80s I was stationed in Germany, it was the cold war, there were maybe 250,000 of us, some Brits and a small west german army less than half a million troops facing some 4,000,000 soviets with about 20,009 tanks, 40,000 artillery pieces and a crap load of helicopters and jets. Our job was to try and hold up the red army for maybe 3 days till more men could be flown in from the us and hopefully the french would mobile. We were not expected to survive. Luckily for us they went bankrupt after 10 years of fighting in afghanistan. But until that moment most people in europe knew there was no way to stop the reds from running over all of europe. If you were a lefty that sounded great to you, if not most figured it was best keep your head buried in the sand and try not to literaly poke the bear and get him to notice you. We americans could afford to be all gung ho since we were not in any great danger but for europe the idea of 4,000,000 red army troops plus millions more of reservists meant you could kiss your country good bye if a war came. Once Churchill and DeGaulle were gone the left took over and tried not to antagonize the reds too much. All the woury about islam has always been minor in comparison. A lot of noise but no real threat to any western countries actual existence. Today right wing politicians in the US try to build up anti chinese fear but they have no reason to attack us, they'd rather buy us out than fight. Left over die hard soviets keep trying to recreate the cold war but if anything Russia is more economically second rate than even the USSR ever was. Not being anti semitic but after the war jews made a huge effort to build up anti fascist hate to help get sympathy for the creation of a jewish state. There was always a large pro left sentiment among jews, one of the reasons Nazis hated them so, this led them to favour the soviets and to overlook any of the atrocities that Stalin committed. Not until the Soviets began to back arab states did this change but by then it was too late. Most europeans cannot believe communists ever did any bad things. So it's perfectly alright to ban a swastika but the left are all wonderful. Ask a lefty anywhere in europe and they still don't believe the Russians slew millions of jews themselves, or deny they killed the polish officers in the katyin forrest for just an example. Well sorry for rambling on so long, just one old vets opinion

While it's officially Bf109, Pilots, both Allied and German, referred to it as an Me109 in official reports.
I believe that the German RLM referred to it as the BF 109.

IL-2 feels so much more real than War Thunder. Maybe because of better engine sounds and better camo/used paint scheme on them

I don't support anything to do with Hitler or his cause but it really upsets me to no end that history itself is being repressed. I mean if I go back to my personal ancestry, I am part Cherokee Indian and my great grandmother was part of the Trail of Tears or the forced relocation of the Cherokee Indian Nation by the US Government. The were rounded up at bayonet point, their homes looted and forced marched over 1000 miles with no food, supplies or medical care. Nearly 5000 died on the march. So hey, maybe we should ban the American Flag now too right? Sounds silly right. Same for the Swastika, it is part of history, just deal with it.

I’m a newly sub’d fan your videos are great, I spent many hours on IL2 forgotten battles back when I kept a pc just for games - this makes me long to get another, I wish there was a Mac friendly iteration of the game, it’s by far the most immersive and period accurate combat flight sim I’ve played. I can forgive the fact that an even late model 109 would take much longer to tear apart the IL2 or the Uber smooth and extended glide you got after high speed impact with an obstacle because it’s a combat sim
