Hail Mary shots at 3:25. . . Well, if you are going to try to outclimb a Bf-109 Gustav, you might as well pick something powerful like an La-5. Still kind of wishful thinking, but I guess it beats staying low and waiting for the return trip.
having a TrackIR is a great advantage .. getting used to it is odd from the start.. but the most odd thing is when im turning my head around while watching your vids.................. i .. i just can't .. im so used to doing it now that i just see it in a clip and i JUST HAVE TO TURN MY DANG HEAD!!
honestly ... when i came back to IL from long hours in WT i was just blind but noticed that i had a metric crap ton things set up wrong ... funny part is that it doesn't have to be the in-game settings XD my problems were actually my monitor settings .. like, WOW! i never thought monitor settings would make a huge difference .
Hardware settings, screen resolution and RUclips compression all change our ability to spot opponents. I am using a 14" 720p TN screen playing the video in cinema mode, not fullscreen, so I cannot see any opponent in the video until Sheriff has a gun solution
Hi! As I see you use 0.9 gamma for better plane spotting. What you think, is there a difference between FXAA and MSAA in the topic? What resolution you playing on? Can I set the default FOV other than 73? 85 fits better to me. I enjoy your videos! I learned a lot about the 109, but miss a "How to Bf 109E" :)
This comment made me do some research for my graphics settings. What a massive difference for spotting! I can not believe I flew 119 hours with shitty spotting. So thank you for this comment and thanks to Der Sheriff for posting his settings.
Great video! Which server was this played on? When can we expect the next g14 tutorial? Also I hope you someday when you have time will make the second part of the TaW tutorial.
I hope to finish the G-14 video next weekend. TAW.. I fear to say that I didn't enjoy the last campaign really much. While I don't like to kept things unfinished its not likely that I complete it. Script is actually complete, maybe needs a small adsjustment. maybe I do it. But in a very simple way so it doesnt take too much time.
@@SheriffsSimShack Last TAW campaign was a first for me to join the server regularly with some friends and I had a great time myself. I would be curious to hear what made that you didn't quite enjoy the last TAW campaign.
@@Boslandschap1 There are many reasons why my enjoyment tanked over the last 2 years. I think the main reason is that the server hasnt changed much over the last three years. Most things stayed the same. and while the missions is dynamic, the targets are always the same. Another reason is that I have less time than in the past. I have like 2h in the evening to fly. I became a dad two years ago. Since then my time to fly is reduced. Its sometimes super difficult to get on the server and get flying as a squad. Some people cant get in, cant take off. Sometimes you lose a plane, or your life. First you need to wait 15mins to be able to join again and then you need to fly transport missions to get my plane back. My patience to look at a ban timer and to do 45mins of transport flying is limited when I only have 2h total. I want to fly, I want to fight. I don't like the "airfield meta". I think the server needs more and more diverse targets. More targets across the map with less proficient AAA to invite ground attacking. TAW admins should take a look at the finish server for inspiration. As a result players gather in big raid, to be less vulnerable to the AAA and defending fighters. But also the defending team has only limited means to detect larger raids Intime, and its hard to defend against them. Which leads to completely destroyed frontline airfields for both teams. Other reasons are open hostility on the forums, a "we versus them" mentality, when opinions are shared. Being mocked etc. That's basically it
15:08 That guy started singing Eric Clapton's "I shot the Sheriff".
Great stuff. I love the earlier scenarios.
This is a great video. Well done
Thank you very much!
I second that, for sure.
The 109 is such a pleasure to fly. Top video man
Great video! I couldn't turn away.

oh that wasnt a lag, oops
only thaing harder than landing a lag3 is accepting defeat lol
Plz get rid of ads
I removed two. Sometimes YT goes overboard. I dont remove them all however. One wants to get some compensation for hours editing.
