A lone sortie on the wings of liberty server. I tried to surpress fighter support coming from the enemy airfields, close behind enemy objectives. Flying the Bf 109 G-4.

Maybe that over-aggressive Yak was a Warthunder player, hehehe. Russian prop fighters in that game have been such overpowered UFOs, who could just helicopter up to an enemy like that and reliably shoot you from 1.5 kilometer away with their 37 or 45 mm cannons, that he thought he can do the same in a serious simulation.

Can you do a video on your graphic settings for spotting? It looks like you have gamma turned pretty far down. I can spot well in VR but I struggle to spot in 2D.

You have to respawn. There is no refuel/rearm mechanic in the game yet.
