- #MAVERICKWATCHREVIEWS Man these are really nice! I'm so glad Citizen finally did this. As usual Citizen is spot on with superior fit & finish and excellent bang for your buck. Yeah these demand a substantial premium but I think they're worth it. If you do get one consider swapping out the strap for a nicer one. The upper-end Promasters come on fantastic straps but these polyurethane straps are just too stiff for me. Also, make sure you check out all the macro shots. Which color is your favorite?

Citizen is so underrated. Seiko seems to be what most RUclipsrs review. Glad you put Citizen out there. I would not trade my Citizen Skyhawk A-T for anything. For your watches here, I have never been a green fan, but this one does look good. The red is really cool. You can’t go wrong with either.

Can't say I care for the red or green Promasters, but I do have the blue and the black, Two of my favs. I highly recommend them.
@KRW628 I agree the green looks too loud, especially with the seconds in white! I have the blue which is more consistent and very adaptable, especially with other straps.
I bought the green one from the Japan Online store about a month ago and it is great. I always liked the Citizen diver's and I am a big fan of the Citizen Eco Drive range in general. When I saw the green one in an image online I ordered it straight away. The colour is fantastic, especially in the sun, and the fit and finish is superb. Although it is 44mm it wears smaller on my 8" wrist. My advice, don't hang around, get one. Even when I got hit for £60.00 import tax etc. it was still worth every penny.
Just got the green and hated the silicone strap! Put a black canvas Barton strap on and I love this watch. Crazy accurate
Citizen makes great pieces at great prices. Fit and finish on Citizen watches is awesome.

Love the Eco Drive. That red is 🔥. Amen on the misaligned bezels and chapter rings on Seiko’s. 🤣

This is my first citizen watch, and despite being an owner of far more expensive watches from Rolex, Tudor, Omega and more, I can already see that this Promaster Diver 200 is going to be one of my favorite watches ever! Me too just picked it up today on the braclet at Argos UK £199, i have the blue and the black versions and was very tempted on the red...still am tbh. Nice cool looking watches that do not break the bank ....only neg is i would have prefered they kept the orange minute hand.
@@dobbo4596 it must have gone back to original price as it went down well before Christmas. There's another divers watch at argos with the Same bracelet for £149 it's also a promaster. Black face with orange minute hand..
I saw the green one in a shop window with the steel bracelet and loved it. Never thought I would buy one, but then I met a guy selling a green one with the rubber band. He only had it for 3 months and had it on for 1 hour, but He likes really big watches. (saw the clock he had on lol, looked nice but way to big for my liking) So when he got it from an online store it was to small for him. I jumped at the chance to buy it, wore it down the shops first time today and the girl in the coffee shop made a nice comment first thing. So am really happy with it. only thing is like you said, the band isn't that great, I am going to buy a softer silicone band.

Funny, I have been wearing and rediscovered my black BN0150 for one week now on a silicon strap (haven't used it for years). Already a classic in my eyes. New colors are nice, but not sure it's for me. 44mm is normally on the large side for me, but with the sleek silicon strap, it works perfectly.
I had the blue one. Wasn’t crazy about the orange arm but I liked the watch. Glad to see they didn’t do that with the new colors. I’d go with green

Other than the red and green color, the one more change was the minute hand changed from orange to white.
That green colourway is something special! Light hits the dial really nice too
I'm glad the colors look more mature in person, maybe the white chapter ring gives them a candied appearance and I'd prefer a matching ring anyway. Nice to see Citizen going in their own direction though and offering more color choices, cheers.
I really like the green, but seeing it in video vs the pictures online, I also like the red more than expected. I just can't get over the mental pricing that's was set in my head when I bought the blue for $104 at Amazon. Hopefully they'll have a US release of these colors and they'll come down a bit.
I like Citizen better then seiko and Citizen hair is the best loom for dive watches

Green if you want people to think it’s a Rolex, red if you want to be more original.

These straps with the print are traditional and belong to this design since the old legendary NY0040. But, I don't like them either. A NATO is my first choice for these watches.
If you want to dive with the watch, take the green one. Red is not recommended under water. Water absorbs light, the long-wave colors first (this is called extinction). After about 3 meters diving depth there is no more red if you don't have a lamp with you.

For me, I choose Green Power Ranger. I was never really a fan of the Red Ranger, except the Red Space Ranger. He was cool. But other than that, I'd take Green!
I'm glad I don't have to choose. I would probably go for the red because I have a green diver. But then I would be wishing I had that green one too. So I guess I would either buy both or neither. They both just look equally awesome!
Well you are lucky with the accurateness on the second hand. Most of the time it just points exactly in between.

A yellow face, and I would have one of these in a heartbeat. Result really, as I’m still paying for the Seiko Street series Tuna, you persuaded me to buy. That green really does it.
In my area I have no chance to compare both versions on the wrist. Both are nice, but I think I lean more towards the green version. I do not know :-)

You inspired me to get the BN0150 that I have with one of your previous videos. Just yesterday I saw these red & green versions and was wondering when someone would review them, sure enough I see this. I personally love a well executed red watch and I can see this in my future. You sound like you prefer the green, get it.

Why do some come in little scuba tanks and some don't?
It's probably to do with cost . I believe you can purchase the citizen scuba tank boxes from amazon as a separate item.
If its through Amazon; What happens is people order the watch with the tank case. Then they return the watch to Amazon minus the case. Then they sell the case on ebay to the people that bought the reduced priced watch on Amazon. 🙁

I’d go green. Never been a red fan. Both are awesome watches and I enjoyed your enthusiasm for reviewing these awesome watches. May I recommend Barton elite silicone strap. Has been my favorite rubber strap thus far.

@@maverickwatchreviews loving it. For its size it wears extremely well. Very comfortable and light. The coolest part is the tritium tubes. This is the first watch I have had with them. The glow is awesome and never runs out. It sits on my night stand when not in use so I can read time at night with no problem. Thanks again!

It's cause Seiko is like the Toyota of watches, they knock out massive quantity at decent quality. Citizen to me is like the Honda of Watches. Overall better quality but still high volume. Both are great brands but 100% as you said Citizen just do the little things better.
