Great job, everything you need and it looks comfortable and homey. That's so important, I see so many conversions that have no warmth and look junky, you definitely did a wonderful job.
I really like this one! I especially like the table and seats since most busses don't have any hard seats, just a couch and beds. Only big minus for me is the lack of a shower
Marvelous job! You should consider a career designing and remodeling school buses for others. You'd make great money. 😊

heck he could just make the modular components and sell them... for example make the dining table and chairs and sell them as a set ready to install... the sofa folding bed as well as an individual component that can be purchased individually.
I totally agree with you Michael Vaugh. He was brief and to the point. Others have shown every little irrelevant item on their bus. I have fast forwarded many times due to the unnecessary chatter. The shower itself he didnot show. Otherwise I give him a 97% for his bus which is simple, tidy and totally relevant. Congrats, young man.
This young man needs to be designing for RV manufacturers. I am not sure if he has an Industrial Design degree but his design aesthetic is much more sophisticated than what is available with (most) current RV design.
Jennifer Schaefer Someone doesn't need to have an industrial design degree to understand good layout and functionality. Whatever the case, he did a good job.
Most RV Mfg companies don't want good design or good sense, they want cheap-junk, complicated and stuff that breaks down before you get it home. That's why so many people are repurposing schoolies & building vardos -- they're far less expensive, designed better, don't fall apart, and they can repair the rig themselves. This fellow did a nice job, and thought things out.
Most of the RV designs that I've saw is horrible! I always feel like I'm in Home Depot with all the gaudy tiling designs/backsplashes and wooden cupboards everywhere. Maybe that is why some of these companies that cater to designing these school buses for others are the go to now. As there is so many ways/directions you could go to produce a strong, efficient and comfortable space that you will enjoy.
because I don't think that everyone is really thinking about impressing others with what they've created/done for themselves. To reap from whatever seeds you've sown is a pleasure when you're doing it for you vs doing it for attention/recognition, whatever else............
Kyle, I've seen plenty of videos of school bus conversions and I really like yours the most. Hands down. Nice, toned down colors through your using wood throughout. Well done, pal! One question: Is that a bottle of betadine at your sink? 😉
Nice craftsmanship I like that duel tone woodworking at the front ceiling area too. Could use a womans touch I would like to put some throw cushions and things around but really good storage ideas and that fold up shotgun seat is smart too.
i live in a 69 airstream that ive changed up and generally don't like peoples tiny house videos, but your bus is bad ass. good job man, totally utilitarian and practical. I like it
Came out freaking amazing i love it. I can only imagine the work involved to build with the curved roof. It must be awesome to drive & stay wherever you want,my kind of dream for sure. Exellent work.
This is one of the best conversions I've seen. I could see myself in a bus made like this. I almost like it better than a tiny house. I didn't see a shower situation so I assume you do that at a gym or YMCA etc. This bus is comfy and roomy and aesthetically pleasing. ~Smile!
What I love is that when you have a guest over and you both are asleep (you in your bed in the back and the guest in the bed in the front) ... if someone has to go to pee in the middle of the night... you don't have to go through the area where the other one is sleeping.... also I love that the bathroom is contained..... I have seen buses where the toilet is just right out in the open.... I need my privacy... so love that.... and I love that the bedroom in the back is somewhat separate from the rest of the bus... You thought of everything... I love it... I am thinking about doing this.... but I am just scared as hell... lol ... I am scared that I will spend all the time buying and fixing up a bus, move in, and then not like it... but I am a minimalist, so I think I could do it!!! I am currently debt free and my bills are only about $750 a month... I live in a really small apartment.. around 450 square feet.... and I mostly use one room on a regular basis... of course the bathroom and the kitchen ... but really, I am mostly in the living room... I don't even sleep in my bedroom.... I prefer the couch... lol ... So I feel like I am paying rent for a place that I don't use much... and I want a change.... IS THERE ANYTHING YOU COULD TELL ME TO EASE MY MIND AND ASURE ME THAT YOU LOVE YOUR BUS... WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT IT "DOES" FOR YOU... FINANCIAL FREEDOM, FREEDOM TO TRAVEL, MINIMALIST LIVING A MINIALIST'S LIFE, ADVENTURE... What are the good things about living the bus life!!! Thank you for posting this video and if you want to respond please do. However, don't feel like you have to... you probably get all kinds of people asking questions... thanks again.
It's an International School bus, manufactured by International. You'll find their logo on the left side of the front grill in bright orange. If we hold hands and walk around, you'll find many windows don't work and that Jesse was here; the bus might be in its original color or painted black to help guide his father ... Be-El-ZaBub. Redrum Redru,
You are so talented and gifted...You have done such an amazing job of this bus conversion.....We had a motorhome for years and simply loved that lifestyle.....Best wishes to you.
this is a sweet bus! you did an excellent job with all of the wood and different are in designs that you added into this build! this is a beautiful bus
Very nice home Kyle.....I love the table with the map, such a great idea ! Clever how you did the step to your bed. I also love the artwork on the bedroom wall, really cool ! One question....where do you shower ? Thanks for the tour.
Great job. Did you make a shower in the toilet area? just wondering. Not really nessesary if have access to gym or YMCA . Sponge baths work just as well. A shower is just quicker and convenient.
VERY nice bus build! Well planned out. I know this is an older vid, assuming u still utilize your schoolie is there anything you'd change? How do u like the airhead? Looking into nature's head presently. What made u choose the airhead? Thank you. Hope you are still rolling!😁
On a blog, he mentioned it is also powered by Vegetable oil... 😱 emaculate design, looks open than cramped and messy like most I've seen. I just wonder ... what happens if your bus breaks down? With no cell service in the middle of nowhere. 😐
Good work working skills, very nice conversion. Wish you had included a shower though. For such a large space, a shower would have been nice. No solar yet?
I love the RV window installs. It makes it feel more like a home vs just a bus. Great job Kyle! VERY impressive!👍
Beautiful build.
One of the best bus conversions yet
Very nice Kyle, perfect conversion, you did a great job........have fun...
Probably the nicest schoolie ive ever seen. Sweet job! Love the wood burner too
very nicely built, clean and got that home feeling. Great job
I love this! But am I the only one who is really curious about the little green lamp guy? He is fantastic!
Not only is it one of the best designs I've seen I cant tell you how refreshing your simple delivery of it was phenomenal!
Very very nice, one of the best I have seen so far!
Well you've been living under a rock
Honestly, I've never really even considered a Schooly convertion. However, I must say that I'm really impressed with the job you did! Well done sir !
Excellent creative ingenuity Kyle!
Great job, everything you need and it looks comfortable and homey. That's so important, I see so many conversions that have no warmth and look junky, you definitely did a wonderful job.
Excellent floorplan. Great job
Nice clean simple design! I love it!
Very beautiful wood work, great job on everything very impressed
Beautiful home many blessings
Very well done..feels light and functional without clutter.
Wow. I really like the fold out futon style Kyle. Well done. We might have to do a version like that for our bus. :)
The best tour ever..calm, good discriptions.well done.love the sink, extra beds.
awesome design very functional and looks good too. Well Done!
I really like this one! I especially like the table and seats since most busses don't have any hard seats, just a couch and beds. Only big minus for me is the lack of a shower
Love it. Well thought out, functional and beautiful.
I really like how the cabinet storage stores double as a support for the bed I have to steal your idea
You did an excellent job. Cleanest bus I've seen
Marvelous job! You should consider a career designing and remodeling school buses for others. You'd make great money. 😊

The bathrooms on these are usually so cramped. He did a good job with his layout in general, but that bathroom made me happy.
Right! It's bigger than most bus showers!
Kyle, great build, great home !!! LOVE ❤️
Very inspiring. I can't wait to get my bus and start my build. Thank you for sharing

I love this. Simple and straightforward
This is probably the sickest bus yet

He's so casual about his genius conversion. IMPRESSED!

Not just an awesome bus. But the video is excellent. This is how you do video.
Full of ingenious hacks and tricks. Very cool, spare, and well done!

Ciecie Newson me too!!! I could see myself in one too!
you're right, I didn't see a shower either. But now that I'm thinking, he sounded like he was all about saving/using minimal of water
Very well thought out!

Very very nice. Dam good job!
Great idea fir the heat transfer. My bus has an overheating problem... I could heat a tank on the roof and take a hot shower at the end of the day!
The best I have seen so far! Love it and wouldn't change a thing except put in a shower.
I like your bus house😨👍👏
Just love it! Why are you not in Canada? I wish you were, I would love to know you and your design ideas!💜🐾🇨🇦
I love the artistry in your bus. Very well done.

I don't have a bus but I'm converting a van to travel, work and live in.

Well done! Beautiful wood work! Fit and finish top notch. A true craftsman!
This is definitely one of my favorite bus conversions. I wonder how much something like this would cost? I love it regardless. Janice
