Behringer GDI21 all-in-one pedal

- A DI box and a stomp box in one. If you are in a rehearsal or gig and got no amp, don't you worry because you can use this either as a DI box or an effects pedal. All you need is to pair this with a reverb or delay pedal and that's it you are good to go. Here's a quick review on this lovely and affordable guitar gadget.
Plugged directly to NI Session I/O USB guitar interface. Used Garageband audio track recorder no effects/reverb. Guitar used was Lyon by Washburn HSS with Wilkinson Vintage 60s neck and Wilkinson Hot Humbucker bridge.

Yes it's really very good pedal. Because it can be used as DI box, even when recording in a computer it can be an amp simulation and lastly it's a foot pedal. You can also set it up as Boost, Overdrive or Heavy Metal distortion. There are loads of pedals out there actually but this one is really one to keep. It can be your back up when you don't have amplifier available during live gigs. Buy reverb first and then may be this one in the future. Actually you can just use this and a delay pedal and your are already complete. Because you can setup a delay pedal into a reverb pedal. I've got tutorial on that one.

Zak I have tried that before in a music store in Manila. I live it but during that time I can’t afford any gear so I’m only trying it out. It is really very good pedal. That’s really good pair for the GDi21

Does this pedal work good as a preamp? If used on a FXreturn or directly through the cab, will it sound good?

Hi - Question: if it is permanently outputting speaker simulation output it cannot be used in front of a guitar amp correct? In other words it's designed for people who do not use guitar amp and want to go direct into house PA? Thank you.
Edward Bonthrone there are two output the XLR is for PA and the TRS one is for amp. You can even use both output so your XLR goes to the PA mixer and the TRS goes to your guitar amp as your monitor. The pedal can work as well as your stompbox high gain or overdrive pedal. Its really good pedal.

Can i record with it directly without an interface with my zoom g1on??
nitesh narayan sorry it’s just a DI box and amp cab sim. You will really need to have an interface to record. But this can help improve the sound.
the issue of this pedal is the button.
This pedal clone tech 21 amp but Its analog or digital amp sim ?
Behringer is claiming it to be analog. Im not 100% sure. But on the box it's written "Analog guitar modelling preamp/stompbox with DI recording output."

@@upside-down6211 yes you can plug this on the front of the amp. It doubles like a proper stomp pedal.
