    The demo gear in this video is all run through Practical Patch cables, including instrument cables and patch cables. These are using some top-quality components, including Neutrik jacks and Van Damme cable and are hand-assembled and tested in the UK. After having off-the-shelf cables for years and suffering failures again and again, I bought some Practical Patch cables and have been happier than ever with them. They also don’t cost you the Earth, which some other hand made cable companies seem to do. If you want to find out more, head over to www.practicalpatch.co.uk to see what they have to offer.

    i have both, Joyo serves as EQ for my other drive pedal, GDi for high gain sound.

      That's a really cool way of using the Joyo, I'll have to try that out 👍

      Spoilers: a lot of my early videos were recorded with the American sound into a DAW with IRs running. It's absolutely great for this 👍

    The Behringer is too compressed and rubbery for my tastes. I still love the Joyo Sweet Baby!

    The Harley Benton American is tops for a stand alone pedal but the beringer is what I like for my acoustic pedal.

    Great video. I have thr Joyo and am considering the Behringer as a straight to mixer option. I just to comment that the Behringer has a Blackface type of tone whereas the Joyo can do that plus Bassman type of tone and all points in between. Different applications though. I also found the Joyo noisy with the volume or gain past 12 o'clock.

    • @BudgetPedalChap
      @BudgetPedalChap  Год назад +1

      Yeah, I think all of the amp sim range from joyo can get noisy at the higher gain settings, so it's well worth bearing in mind. Both are great solutions for direct into a board and either is a great choice for a backup live too 👍

    I have the Behringer and feel it's an amazing option at $35 for an emergency rig. In terms of versatility and what you can do with it...the Behringer wins; no doubt.
    But as far as "quality" for nailing Fender tones and for overall best clean pedal platform, it's the Joyo. The extra EQ options and well, remember that the Blonde was a next gen variant on the GT2's tweed setting, and it just "sounds" better.
    If only one...I'd go with the Behringer for utility. But why not grab both considering how cheap these are lol?

    • @BudgetPedalChap
      @BudgetPedalChap  2 года назад

      Exactly that. As I only really use a fender style clean amp live, I could easily get away with just the American Sound, but I have bought both and could easily take both with me to give me options if my amp broke.

    Put a Metal Zone into the Behringer clean Fender and it sounds killer.

    • @BudgetPedalChap

      I've not got a metal zone but I do have the behringer equivalent. Might just have to try that 👍

    It’s the Joyo for me… I know some will like the sound of the Behringer but I just don’t like that sound… I’ve had the Joyo (2 of them) before and the voice knob really makes all the difference… plus gainz sounds are really good on it

    • @BudgetPedalChap

      It is all down to personal preference at the end of it. I think I prefer the joyo too though tbf

    One advantage and disadvantage of the Behringer is the DI. I want my wet effects after the preamp before going to the mix.

    • @BudgetPedalChap
      @BudgetPedalChap  Год назад +1

      Yeah, it's often preferred that way with the time based FX. It would be top tier if it has a loop

      @@BudgetPedalChap very welcome my friend and happy to join your journey! Pedal junkie as are we all..drive and fuzz fiend and I've recently taken a real liking to the reverb and delay worlds so I'm looking into that end of my tone lately. Your demos lay it out simple and don't eat half my day to get a quick tone sample and it's a 2 for 1 in the shootout demos so very nicely done man 😜🤘🎸

    I like the initial compressed bassy tone of the GDI but it would get lost in yhe mix. Plus mine hummed like a bees nest. No such problem with the joyo
