- It’s diners versus demonstrators at yet another tense restaurant face-off. A man and woman were eating outside in St. Petersburg, Florida when a group of protesters angry with the charging decision made in the case of Breonna Taylor’s killing engaged in a heated confrontation. At one point, protesters sit down at the diners’ table, and the woman calls the police. One protester tweeted a photo of the couple making inflammatory hand gestures at the protesters, saying it’s why they were targeted. #InsideEdition
This isn't "protesting" or "demonstrating", it's flat out harassment and in many of these cases, assault or battery.

I absolutely agree Dameshia Parker , In my hometown and the other two towns around us had a protest and match for justice. We nor the other groups ever acted out like this it was extremely peaceful , Even when the other groups reported cars going by flipping them off and cursing at them. They didn't stop the march to yell back or anything they just kept going peacefully on the way to the courthouse steps.

I remember in high school learning about the Civil rights movement and how they protested peacefully and the racist people made themselves look worse. I think some activists wanted a more radical approach and that made the whole movement look worse. If these people want to protest, do so peacefully. In my town a small group of people were protesting for BLM in the side of the street. They were not disrupting the peace. When people that were not originally planned to be in the protest came, they quickly disbanded, but still did this the next day peacefully again.

I’m from Portland OR. And I can honestly say about 1/3 of the people involved in these types of demonstrations barely have even a cursory knowledge of what they’re there for. It’s simply an opportunity to harass people and maybe get a chance to throw something at a cop with impunity.

I got into local politics after the 2016 election, wanted to feel like I could influence something on a smaller scale. The amount of people who would show up to a protest and then not vote was incredible. It's was stunning.
