- After an Asian-American family was plagued with harassment from kids knocking on their door and running, big-hearted residents are banding together to help. Over fifty neighbors are taking turns standing outside the house near San Clemente, California. The people harassing the family were caught on their doorbell camera, and some have hurled racial epithets. Crimes against Asians have risen after a year of racist rhetoric around COVID-19 from many including former President Trump. #InsideEdition

This brings back upsetting memories of when kids from middle to highschool ages would do this to my family. They always thought it was funny to do this to us and never heard the other neighbors, who were non asian, get treated this way. ☹😠😒

I have been through tremendous bullying Becouse I live in an area where there is no one of Asian descent and obviously live under a rock.it’s sad that Asian people don’t get acknowledged as enough as we should and I hope things change one day, stay safe out there!

I know of in-laws who would criticize their asian daughter in law to another white friend or relative, behind the DIL's backs. I have also seen the "change" of having and raising kids....how the stress shows on both husband and wife. why has this topic got to do with the main issue here, well........because after these punks "mature", they would probably try to score with an asian woman....thats how relationships is nowadays.

@@Naallaa This isn’t necessarily true. When I was a child, I recognized people in other neighborhoods. How did I manage to do that? I occasionally (regularly) left my own neighborhood. Also… the perpetrators didn’t exactly look like small children. Some of them might be adults. Some of them might be driving cars. Maybe someone noticed an Asian family moving in, and spread the word on social media. Or maybe, like me, they didn’t isolate themselves in their own neighborhood.

When I was a kid, I like most of the kids in my neighborhood, knew several other streets we were quite aware of both familiars and other friends from those places. I doubt very much that all of these twits were from that neighborhood.

Exactly. I have the same line of thinking. It's not great when someone sacrifices their time, or worse, their career or health, to defend people who should be defended by the law.

Well, the person who pushed him probably knew it because it would’ve been a “guilty asian that started this outbreak preventing him from going out with friends” dying and it would’ve been “ok”. It’s a scapegoat for what’s happened, whether it was a lab leak or not, it’s no excuse to target people for another government’s mistakes. If it was a lab leak from China, remember, it could have easily been any other powerful country doing secretive biological testing instead of China that could have mistakenly took a wrong a step or other problem in the lab (obviously excluding potential purposeful release).
