As a Mexican American, I’ve had a fair share of discriminatory comments from white Americans. It really goes to show that this country may be the “land of the free” but discrimination is an issue that won’t stop because some people born here are raised to be inconsiderate, ignorant, selfish, and racist. It’s the sad truth.
It makes me ashamed that people who uphold those kinds of values can be so hypocritical. As a proud American, I think this is the land of the free, not the land of the few. Everyone should be welcome here. Anyone who says otherwise isn't a real American. I'm sorry you've experienced this.

Yo mum Yo mum it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re dumb but it’s proven that knowing more than 1 language is beneficial to the brain and studies have shown that knowing a second language helps works the brain and helps delay the onset of things like dementia and Alzheimer’s. I’m not saying people are dumb for only knowing one language but I do believe that those who do know more than one language definitely have an advantage. Now, do I consider the ladies in the video dumb? Absolutely. From the video they seemed to be very closed minded and intolerant of others. Knowing more than one language is awesome and takes a lot of hard work to be able to communicate and understand languages. I love hearing people talk in different languages.
