Love it, from Australia
Hi Peter, Thanks for watching!
Epic project
Thanks for watching!! 👍
It boggles my mind how you did this! I think this is sweet!!
Boggles my mind too! lol Thanks for looking!
Amazing the wheelbase lined up!
A little planning and a lot of luck lol! Thanks for watching Joe.
Stunning accomplishment for sure 👍👍😎👍👍
Yes Sir!
Looks like the wheelbase is right on ... definately need a roof drop ... I personally like the shoebox tailites ... as far as sound goes it's a six ... not much you can do for that ... might as well leave the stock exhaust on ... lookin goos though ... now the fun begins ...
After crawling around underneath I found out someone deleted the resonators! Thanks for watching!
pretty awesome so far.
Thanks for watching!!
Ease of fitment, Shows your great level of planning as always
Thank you very much!
Totally awesome job that you are doing on this shoebox.
👍
Loving it. It is going to look stunning Nick.
Hope so! If I don't mess things up too badly. Cheers!
Looking amazing !!!
Thank you!!
i like this
Thanks for watching! 👍
The 51 actually is a decent match size wise. Great measuring.
Like a glove! Thanks for watching Glenn
That is a very cool build, amazed that the wheel base is the same. Looking forward to more videos on this project!
Actually, there's a 2" difference. The '51 is longer, but with the help of a little metal shaping magic it'll all work out... I hope.
Love what u guys do
Thanks very much for the support, we appreciate it!!
Amazing progress so far, really looking forward to seeing this develope 👍
Thanks man!
Nick...I'm loving this series. Body swapping is something I've never spent much time thinking about. However, it seemingly makes a ton of sense. Looking forward to each new video. Thanks brother.
Old school stylin' with modern hustle and we can't forget all the great amenities! This '51 Ford was in bad enough condition where there was no point to restore/resto-mod it and this undertaking makes sense. Normally, we upgrade the suspension, brakes, throw a big engine in and build a cool custom. Thanks for watching and I'm gonna let you in on a little secret... there'll be a lot more cutting in the near future! lol
Happy new year Nick.looks like fun times ahead🤓
Thanks John!
Amazing how well they fit together. 👊👊👊👊
Hey Shane, as a guy once said 'If one fails to plan their plan will fail'...throw in a pinch of luck too! I appreciate you watching. 👍👍
Looks awesome Nick, measuring twice and cutting once works: that infinity looks like the identical wheelbase. Can't wait for next episode!
Yes Sir, ! The Tudor's wheelbase is actually 2" longer than the G35's. But, since we're going to be opening up the arches that difference will get taken care of nicely. Thanks for watching Rob!!
Awesome I have built radical customs. You my friend are few and far between to have guts to such a huge challenge. Nice work. Retired body tech. Rick Coast
Thanks Rick!
Amazed at how close a fit that is! Looking forward to this series progressing.
Darn close! 👍
I'm sure you did a lot of measuring on both vehicles to to get to this point, awesome. Can you lower the donor chassis to get it in the weeds ? I'm sure you will figure out some way, such as channeling the rockers to get the Ford body closer to the ground even after it's loaded.
We're working on squeezing a few more inches out from between the chassis and shell.. probably around 3. That's going to help a lot. Thanks for watching Richard!
Just found this project , what great idea and way of making a real cool hot rod . Your skill is incredible more power to you sir I’m well impressed .
Thank you very much!
Wow, this is going to be a nice ride. I am amazed how well the old body fit the new chassis. Well done you guys 👏
Thanks 👍
I wish you would’ve done a whole video on how you did the whole rocker. I have a 50 that I’m thinking about doing a restaurant on but I’d like the slick look.
I'm working on a video showing the process of bending up a rocker. Hope to get it up soon. Thanks for watching!!
@@iNVisionPrototypes that would be awesome
Put lake pipes on it I think it's going to be a awesome car when done I'm digging it!!!😎👍
Thanks for watching!
I'm diggin it. Going to be bitchin!
Thanks man! 👍
Thats coming together really good! How did you figure out that the Infiniti would work as the new drivetrain? Looking forward to see how you start joining them together.
Through a lot of research and a bit of luck! Thanks for watching
So do you think you might be able to channel the body down two or three more inches ? If you are not chopping the roof to much . Good luck .
After some more checking with the eyecrometer, we're going to work on getting the shell sitting lower... Thanks for watching.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
@13:30 would like to get a better look what you trimmed back over the rear suspension inside the trunk?
I have a video coming out this Friday. That should answer your questions. If not let me know. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
@@iNVisionPrototypes thanks for replying
I wouldn't chop it, just shave the dome. That might accomplish the look you're going for.
We'll see! Thanks for watching!
The 50’s era was more likely be raked towards the rear.
👍
Which car will the 1951 FORD or INFINITI G35XS, finished project be licenced as?
If you undertake a custom project it would be best to speak to your local DOT office on that matter. Thanks for watching.
Car sounds like shit unless you have the old Flattie or a small block Chevy≥ NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK.
Love you passion man!!
Very promising! You have a vision my friend. Can't wait to see it all together, I know you guys can do it. Thanks for the video.
The car doesn't have a choice... it HAS to work out! lol! 👍👍 Cheers!
