    @PostStrokeOrg
    This is very helpful. I had double vision after my stroke in 2018. It is very scary. However, doing these exercises with my therapist for about a month helped me get my vision back, and now I'm driving. I recommend doing these exercises. Don't give up. It's worth it.

      This is great that your diplopia is cured. My husband has similar condition, if you dont mind can i know how long it took for your eyes to get back to normal post stroke

      @meenumittal8623 About a month, the diplopia started going away and eventually only had it in my left peripheral. Over the next couple years, with eye exercises and going to the neuro-optimologist it is gone.

    shared and added to my playlist. thanks so much for this content! v. helpful. every little bit helps us remain as independent as possible for those not lucky enough to get to the doc immediately after stroke starts.

    Thank you for all your videos. Could you perhaps also explain the trouble with vision after a stroke, bright light. After 6 years coping with noise is getting better, but son is awfully difficult. Greetings from Holland Europe

    Since my last stroke I been having problems focusing. My doctor never addressed that, say that will go away...is being more then 10 years now from my last stroke, things are getting worse with my vision not better, thanks for this video!!❤️

      It doesn't matter how long since your stroke, recovery is possible. It may be slower, but it's possible. Repetitions is the key. Never give up. See a neuro-optimologist they can use prisms in glasses to help you. Elyse is right on point with the exercises.

      @SuperJesusinme, i agree with @lisaward2562. It’s probably time to see a neuro ophthalmologist to figure out what specifically is going on. My videos are more general but you’ll need a more individualized plan. Keep me posted!

      If exercises haven’t worked for you, I’d recommend reaching out to a neuro ophthalmologist to get some diagnostic testing to see what’s going on and what treatment is appropriate for you!

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  6 месяцев назад

      @zehrafatima7253 Most likely not as these are for muscle weakness. I would talk to your eye doctor to see what would be the best treatment for your situation!
