This was a pleasure to watch. I wish there was a part 2. Would love to hear Grant explain the downswing . Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment. Grant is an amazing instructor. I'd highly recommend anyone interested in seriously improving their golf game to seek him out as an instructor. He is a great communicator, and helped me in the day we spent together this past spring.

As a lefty also playing as a righty, I feel your pain. Lefties tend to want to wallop the ball and I have the same issue that you showed here - arms kept going behind you, but mine is uglier -- behind and shallow. I've had other instructors who ignored it -- we're talking 10 years. Today, I had my 8 yr old for 2 hours tell me when to stop my arms... This vid is much appreciated and helpful. I can actually make a good backswing in a mirror, but on the course, it's tough - which is why the 8 yr old hounded me today. I am digging my right elbow into my ribcage and just turning steeper and the arms are along for the ride. Grant showing you to turn steeper with your arms remaining in front of the chest is a help. It's just a more compact swing. Now I've got the steeps coming down after compacting the backswing, and am learning to shallow out... one piece at a time... Thanks again.

    Hey Shawn,
At 4:45 I heard you and grant talking about your wrist position and how it was bowed and how he wanted it to become flat. Funny thing, I have the same problem with my left wrist bowing and I hit low hooks because of it and it causes lots of inconsistency. I was wondering if Grant recommended anything else to fix your bowed wrist?

Grant seems like a great coach! But I wish the student was more open minded
