Wow, really. Click the hamburger menu on the top left, and then Zones and Programs, then Programs. From there, you should see everything. If not, you may need to contact Hunter for support.
Yes, just remember configure (assign) the Pump Start to all programs. Here is a screen capture: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/43zh11j0eomxgk6snscoq/Hunter-X2-Pump-Start.png?rlkey=pidn0jjv03j7ucacfsqpdal1l&dl=0
Hi Matt. Controllers require an external rain sensor. I recommend using a wireless option to place it in an optimal location. Here is a link, this rain sensor has the 'Direct Response' feature, which will shut down the controller immediately rather than wait for a specific amount of rain to accumulate: sprinklersupplystore.com/products/hunter-wrclik-wireless-rain-sensor
Yes! This is a great question. Your programming will move to the cloud. Then you’ll always have a back up, so if something happens to the controller, and you replace it with a new one, you’ll still have the programming as well.
@@Andy_Humphrey thank you. I finally decided to use the Wand with my X2 and I’m just learning how to program it. Your video helped tremendously. Would hate to lose the set up as it is perfect.
Hi @searchmasterjohn (great name). Only the Pro-C with Blue Buttons is upgradeable. The HPC-FP is the face panel upgrade for the Pro-C but it only works with Blue Button models. Alternatively, replacing the entire controller is often not too difficult, we'd be happy to offer remote assistance. Reach out to our customer service anytime.
What do I need to manually run the timer from a hundred yards away?? Wifi or the remote?? I keep watching videos, getting nowhere. At least yours says you don't need to be next to the timer. 🎈
The Hunter Roam Remote will allow to to manually operate a Hunter controller up to 1,000ft away. With Wi-Fi the distance is unlimited. Roam Remote Here: sprinklersupplystore.com/products/hunter-roam-remote-control-kit
Hi Rob. If you are replacing the entire controller with a new Wi-Fi controller, yes, it will need to be reprogrammed. If you are connecting an existing controller to the internet (via Wi-Fi), all the programming *should carry over. Technology is great when it works, and sometimes there are glitches/bugs that create strange behavior which can delete data. But you should be fine!
Hi Oren Flotech. It is not possible to operate this controller on 12VDC. Alternatively, Hunter has model XC-HYRBID that is designed to operate on either 24VAC or 12VDC. Remember to change your solenoids to DC latching solenoids if you should to go with the DC option.
I cant see existing programs in the app. How do i load those

Hi, awesome video! Will the manual controller still works once we setup the WAND ? thanks!
Yes, absolutely, you can operate the controller at the interface anytime, even with the WAND setup.
@@Andy_Humphrey do you know if we unplug the WAND, will it go back to how it was and kept the setup?
Are you able to control the sprinklers with app if you have a pump start relay installed?

Is the rain sensor for the X2 in the controller already or is that something additional to purchase?

If your system is already programmed will it retain those settings once you connect to the Wand?

Awesome. Have fun with it!
Is there an upgradable wifi option for the Hunter Pro C 700764 with green buttons? It looks like only the newer Pro C with blue buttons.

Does the system need to be replaced if the battery runs out or can it use without the batter?
It’s needs standard 120v AC power. There is a transformer that reduces the power to 24v. The battery is not used to operate the system.
I tried using the serial number as the code! It didn’t work
Aw shucks! Did you resolve this?
another video that shows the basic overview and i still don't know how to switch between programs.. :( .. unless mines broken idk ??
What happens when you press the PRG button in the center of the arrow buttons? This should switch between programs. Contact us if you need assistance.

Hi, I am looking for a controller to be powered with 12v DC and to be charged constantly by solar panel.
Thank you!
Great video
Thanks, Michael. What product/question should we do next? -Andy

Chinese is better suited for Google. Ask Google to translate this for you ;)
To. the internet!!!great so this video is useless... when we come to know how to conect to wifi
Yeah, it’s just a quick overview. I’ll keep that in mind for a future video, thanks!
I never managed to connect my x2 at my grandparents house to WiFi, I feel like the process shouldn’t be this hard
Outdated controller
There are certainly more advanced controllers available
This is my controller! Thanks for demonstrating on this unit!
