I don’t think anybody is asking “why did we leave” we’re asking, “why did we leave THIS way?”
I think there were several things we could have done before we hightailed it out of there, starting with NOT giving up the Bagram Airbase before getting everybody out. Who gives up your means of transportation before you need to leave somewhere? Every single thing they could royally fuck up they fucked up.
The faster our troops are out the better
There was no real plan....its impossible ... unless u understand Afghanistan and the people .. of course this happened.. the same thing happened in Vietnam
Yeah, but this administration is so fixated on getting the troops out that they’re pulling them before they pull non-military US citizens. Now these people are supposed to trust the Taliban to get them safely to the airport? No. You pull out the US citizens and THEN you get the troops out. There’s been zero strategy here except, “what do the Taliban want? Ok, let’s do THAT.” It’s bullshit on a colossal scale.
I totally agree ma'am leaving was inevitable... Soon or later becuz there is china a bigger emerging economic power who is also boosting their navy their nuclear arms and they started their debt trap expansion policy... So they had to get out fr ... Now the main thing Biden did wrong was planing ... He literally pulled out troops first instead of saving the civilians... It's like first opening the dam then evacuating the village in front
I'd rather hear comedians talk about politics than actual politicians. Is that sad? Keep it up Schulzy

My mother went to Kabul/Afghanistan in the early 70s before the Russians came. Always says, it’s the most beautiful country she’s ever been to. I hope one day they can find peace and feel pride in their beautiful country. It’s taken Vietnam a long time to find that “equilibrium”, and I hope Afghanistan can find itself again.
Back then in the 60s and 70s, travelling hippies made their way to Kabul, smoke pot, hang out before decanting onward to Pakistan and India.

@@joereality1664 Nah, Trump wanted to pull out the troops sooner. Biden made sure to get more time and i still wasn't enough. No one could help Afghanistan in this situation. They didn't want it enough. Also, those weapons were for the Afghan army.

Ppl making money of wars never lose, young ppl lose their lives so this guys can get richer. They don't care who dies or not
It's similar to Vietnam in that from a tactical standpoint and an operational standpoint we won essentially every single battle. We killed so many Taliban that the Taliban today are essentially an entirely new generation of people. But you can't win a war without strategy, and that's the realm of the generals and the politicians
It is not really the military. That is an easy scapegoat. The problem is the military is run by non-military and politicians. Blame those two groups. The military knows what to do and what it takes. And given the ability to do so they are quite successful at what they do. Take for example how Trump handled ISIS in Northern Iraq and how Obama handled it. Obama ran it from the perspective of non-military DOD and members in his cabinet all with no military experience and Trump told the military to do what they do best. One worked (Trump) the other (Obama) failed and just embolden ISIS even more. So again, look at who is really in charge of the military for blame. It starts with the President but also DOD. The DOD has been civilian-run (often with no military service) and party-based for many decades. And what is worst look who is moving up the military ranks now. If you, do it should scare you for the future of our military; a military already limited by civilian political-based DOD. Those moving up the ranks are not the battle-hardy military leaders of the past but those more concerned about teaching CRT in boot camp than teaching them how to kill.

Automatic American citizenship for any Afghani who wants to flee should be the bare minimum the USA should do, that just seems like common decency for all the shit they caused...
Not feasible USA can’t hold the complete blame although a lot of it goes to them, the truth is Afghani men didn’t want to fight for their country
What did we fuck up in Afghanistan? The Taliban were empowered before we invaded, this is just a return to the prior order. Now Iraq you can make the argument we fucked all their lives up
That was some serious fuckup with camera switching in middle.
Shoutout to Schulz for finally recognizing Hmong people lol
Afganistan was way more stable when we were there, we didn't "fuck it up" the Taliban did.
Who helped create the taliban
@@Tonyd302 We did, with the intention of stopping Soviet expansion and it worked. Hind-sight did not make it seems as well intention tho.
@@DeLaCruz1987 America oppressed both men and women - drugged the entire nation with opioids.
More people with huge platforms talking about things they have no clue about.
At least give us the clue am sure you won't
Yet you didn't say what they were missing dummy. You're the same idiots who try to act like they know everything they completely ignore what the point of your delusional comment was too begin with.
@@sugandipowers4613 LOL!!!
People keep confusing Iraq and Afghanistan. *Iraq* was the stupid, illegal, etc war. The war in Afghanistan was legit as far as international laws and norms. It's why there was a large international coalition in Afghanistan but only the US (practically) in Iraq.
It's like good ol George Carlin said, it's a giant club and we aren't part of it
Some misinformation here, Taliban and al Qaeda are two different groups, Bin Laden was al Qaeda leader, not Taliban...the two groups had a lot of conflicts.
Taliban actually offered Bin Laden to the US in 2001, but the US of course refused!
Biden is anti-war? That's the funniest thing I have heard on this podcast in months.
In the 2016 campaign one of his main issue was anti-MIC.
Anyone watching this clip from the bois and curious about how we left the Afghan people, watch a documentary called “What Winning Looks Like”.
We in lreland don't want anything to do with these people. You keep them
Let’s talk about how of a sheep Andrew is
Hey we've been having a civil war over here in Ethiopia for the last 15 years
I credit a good chunk of my general knowledge awareness to this channel. Thanks boys very grateful
Wtf? You need to give your head a shake bro. They are comics.

Trump is a business man, no way he would of gave up billions in gear.
@Jungle1422 I’m not talking about the leader, I’m talking about the billions in weapons. Don’t have to like Trump to realize he is a business man
@Jungle1422 you mean Obama in the prisoner swap for the deserter???
@@bryanreilly4117 No, Abdul Ghani Baradar was released from prison thanks to the Trump administration. No one mentioned Obama here
It is more cost effective to leave them there than to transport them all yo the US.
@Jungle1422 is it? In cost effective stand point, those weapons will be unusable in a couple of months and shipping them all would take months of planning and billions of dollars.
"The US will always meddle where there are resources"
Weren't we energy independent before 2020 with less reliance on foreign oil and cheap gas prices? Hmm who was president then.... isis was destroyed and Israel and Palestine were negotiating peace. The sitting president at the time got 2 Nobel peace prize nominations. Hmm which guy was that in 2016?
I mean you could look at it as the Golden Era during our isolation. In the US there was prosperity going. But we already know what that type of De-globalization does.
Yes but the decline was already there. Obama was the last president of the so called great usa
@@Tomas1999Benfica lol Obama bombed more people than Bush and Bush started two fucking wars. You're brainwashed if you thing Obama was the last President of the great USA, mostly because US has never been great.
@@Tomas1999Benfica could you articulate further. not trolling, i do wanna hear your thoughts.
We absolutely did try to train them. There are hundreds of videos online. Those people were like children. They were more concerned with getting high or goofing off than the safety and security of their own community and family.
The Taliban had more support from the People of Afghanistan that the US occupiers. They didn’t want to fight for their country because they didn’t want to fight for a corrupt puppet government. Afghanistan has always been a house of cards and we the American people have been lied to for 20 years. It sucks to hear but the people of Afghanistan have always supported the Taliban over the US.
YES Akaash is saying exactly what I been thinking and stating as well. Shoot I'm even posting my response before finishing the whole discussion.
Biden did the right thing for pulling out but lets not forget he voted for this war. But kets give credit where credit is due.
