In my 7 years of home cooking, this is the first time my jaw drops at a recipe. Dear lord this is the most delicious trout I've ever had. The key ingredient to this recipe is the cooking of the shallots and garlic in the butter before going in the oven, and allowing them to cool before applying it on your fish so that you don't cook unevenly. Truly a masterpiece, 10/10. So good I subscribed!
Hello, I found this recipe awhile back and have now made it 1/2 dozen times... my family and friends are impressed with my culinary skills . I wish I could take all the credit but this video is easy to watch and flawless. I would say to anyone , go ahead and do not change anything. The trout will be perfect....
I love that! So glad this recipe has become a favorite. This is the #1 reason why I make these videos, so that others can feel proud of their cooking. Awesome job!
tried this out on some rainbow trout i caught tonight just to test out another recipe on RUclips and find the best one. So far THIS IS THE BEST! Amazing taste! It didn’t even taste like trout with this recipe 😋 amazing YUMMM!
Had this recipe with some buttered asparagus for dinner tonight. This is gonna be a regular dinner in my house from now on, it was easy delicious and fed a family of 3 for pretty cheap
This recipe is a WOW !! & so very delicious! I tucked in the thinner parts & placed it on Non-Stick foil, no clean up , this one is a keeper & that lemon rind sings in your mouth like she said don't skip the grated lemon rind Thank You Dear Heart
@@OlgasFlavorFactory It was fantastic. My fussy fussy husband asked for it again, so I made it yesterday and he was so happy he was squirming at the dinner table waiting for it. Definitely a winner. Thanks for the lesson.
I made it and it was delicious, mine ended up cooking for 25 minutes total but maybe it was a heavier fillet than the one in the video.. also I think next time I’m going to make extra garlic butter to add when serving 👌👌👌
15-20 minutes, depending on the size of your fish. The printable recipe with all the details is here: www.olgasflavorfactory.com/recipes/weeknight-dinners/baked-steelhead-trout-fillet/
We usually serve it with some rice or mashed potatoes and then a simple salad (cauliflower tomato salad is one of my favorites to serve with seafood), garlic green beans, a cabbage salad or grilled veggies. Did she say 15 minutes? Or 50? Because everything I’m reading says 15 at 375, and it sounds like she is saying fifty minutes at 450. Edit: I ask because I’m trying to put this in the oven now.
May I recommend not to use aluminum as it causes alzheimer.... We carry alot of bauxite which is the raw materials for aluminum production and the manufacturers Havr told us not to use aluminum in cooking.... Pans, foils, etc.

For me the skin is the best part so I put it on parchment paper so it doesn't stick.
I love the skin too. Thx for the tip
Can I put the cooked mix on the fish and put it in the fridge and then cook the fish a couple of hours later?

Delicious recipe, but 50 minutes at 450 is a long time for a fish filet!
It’s 15 minutes, not 50.
15 or 50?
Oh dear

Voice WAY too loud
Voice🙄?
Does she have a speech impediment or its just me.
Interesting observation. First time I’ve heard this said about my speech. Perhaps others were too polite to say anything.
