My first use of a rail rover ticket in Wales was when I broke my arm on a hillwalking holiday, and as I couldn't go back to work because my company had arranged cover, I bought a Freedom of North Wales Rover instead. G and Jen, I love the North Wales line, but I hate Platform 13 at Manchester Piccadilly with a passion when going home to Ireland on SailRail via Chester, especially when coming from Metrolink from Shudehill and Market St - up and down all those escalators and stairs with a heavy suitcase, then getting cumbersome paper tickets and information in this day and age is crazy - once when trying to collect my paper tickets from the machine, involving a lot of faffing about with online codes that I did not need, I ended up missing my early morning train to Chester by only 30 seconds and I was gutted - surely some of these trains should call at Deansgate/Castlefield rather than Oxford Rd, which gives far better access from Metrolink or better still, should start from Manchester Victoria, which is far easier to get to and navigate

not very happy with TFW as they have cancelled trains through Shropshire into Birmingham New Street this week which is causing chaos a lot of people use this service especially into Bham as its twice as fast lack of rolling stock has been given as the issue although its seems services in Wales look to be normal. great vlog as normal sorry for the moan about TFW but its affected a lot of people and with the Christmas market and good food show at NEC lots of people are well p off
