  • I show you how to replace your headlight assembly's on your 2015, 2016 and 2017 F-150s. The procedure is similar to 2018, 2019 and 2020 trucks as well.
I share the best way of replacing them with Fords procedure for removal and installation.
I replaced my factory headlights with the special edition ford sport headlights. If you are installing aftermarket lights then the procedure is very similar. If you are installing Ford led headlights (with LED strip) then you will need a retrofit harness

Thanks for the video. Just purchased an F150 at Copart with heat damage to the front. Had to replace both headlamps and grill. Your video helped me save time.

I just bought these same oem special edition headlights for my '17 magnetic gray F-150. Looks really good! Can't wait to install mine. Which led bulbs did you go with? I have some now that came in a set with the hi/lo & fogs but they are pretty dim at night.

I got the fanless Lasfit ones on eBay. It’s a 6 pack of bulbs for about $120

@@TUNED2.7 @austinarce4879 I also have the same 2016 sport (same gray even). What are the headlights and where did you get them?

These are a factory option for certain trucks. I went to cars.com and found one that had them, then took the vin to the dealer and ordered them that way

F150 was really simple, Ford had to make it hard so most people have to go to the dealer for $150+ for removal and install. All this BS just to replace lamps.

Why didn't you add projectors since you were opening them?

What was the cost of the Ford parts?

I got them for $500 total as a ford employee. I think they are $700 without the discount though

It was definitely worth it for me. Mine has some slight fading at the top so that’s the main reason I got these. I’ve always had problems with aftermarket lights on other vehicles so I figured the OEM ones would be my best bet. They’ve been great so far.
