- In this video I show a step by step install of my new "Anzo Switchback" (Anzo Headlights - amzn.to/3tS2dQ6) headlights for my F-150. These will fit all 2015-2017 F-150's.
These lights give your truck a super aggressive look while improving the light output from the factory headlights.
These lights also have a "switchback" function allowing the LED strip to change from white to amber when using the turn signals.

UPDATE : I have had these lights now for almost 2 years with ZERO issues. The LEDS I put in also have had ZERO issues. Absolutely love the upgrade.
Thanks for the video. Very well done and easy to follow (even at 1.5 speed). With this one and the Raptor Grill Install video, my 2015 F150 is complete, for now. Looks great! Next, 1” lift kit, new set of Venom Power Terra X/Ts, and a Borla exhaust system to button things up.

@@AutoHeadz I have a problem with the passenger side headlight. Hoping you can help. When unlocking/locking the outer ring stays white does not change to amber at all, while the driver side does both. any suggestions????

Yes sir. The Gen2 Anzos. I absolutely love them!! I did ask another question here about the plank light bar and when are the times it actually glows white. In DR is it just the projector bulb that glows or are the planks supposed to glow? Thanks for responding. Much appreciated

Also wanted to say that those wires from the headlights were pre-stripped much like an old school aftermarket head unit. I clipped that part off of the wires and the clamps worked much better. Install turned out perfect, thanks for the video

Don’t know if you’ll respond to this but I got these last week and got them put in to find out they don’t work because of the main headlight plug doesn’t clip on or doesn’t have a clip slot for it to fit securely enough to maintain connection do you got any ideas to fix that? I’m afraid they wont take it back through the warranty.

I have a question. When your driving during the day are the projectors for the daytime running lights all that are on or is the plank light bar supposed to glow white as well? Thank you for any feed back
During the day all you see is the big projector led. I switched mine to the nineo. Looks menacing driving during the day.
I love the look and am interested in getting some. Did you upgrade the headlights to an LED or HID bulb when displaying them at the end of the video, or are those the stock halogens that came with the assembly?

I purchased the Anzo's with both suggested LED's for lows and turn signal. Installed and passenger side worked great, but install on the driver side left me with a dead high and low beam. :( Switchback turn signal and parking light work fine in the passenger housing, just nothing on the high or low beams. Put the halogen back into the low just to see if it was the replacement led causing an issue and still nothing. Is there some obvious thing I can check before assuming it's a defective Anzo housing? Thanks!

Great video! The link for the upgraded bulbs is broken. Could you update? Also wondering if you can replace the bulbs without removing the whole headlight assembly? I'm ready to install the lights but don't have the bulbs so wondering if I should wait and replace the bulbs before install.

Question, I bought these a few months ago. However I want to put LEDS in the turn signal spots and I can. But for some reason on the Anzo insert where the turn signal socket goes in is a different size as the factory one. So without hard wiring in resistor’s how and or where can I get the right sized sockets that will fit in the Anzos insert? It’s really annoying. I also bought the resistors where you just put the LED bulb in and plug it in to the OEM connector. Can you please help me?

I installed my anzos a few years ago now. Having issues with one of my low beams not working and a high beam. I’m going to give the bulbs you are running a try. Are the his and lows both H7?

@@AutoHeadz thanks man. Gonna have to order these and see how they work. Are you still running them both in hi and lows currently? I have the brand crystalux HIDs for lows and LEDs for my his. They’ve only lasted me I want to say almost 3 years so hope these will fix them.

Does the planks stay on as daylight running lights?
No the planks only come on at night or you can just turn the lights on. The low beam turns on as the DRL. Looks pretty sweet with the LED Sphere.
What is the splicing for man? For the switchback function?
Yes, exactly.
So if you don’t splice the turn signal won’t work? Can you still use the lights turn signal without having to splice?
I’m actually not sure. No one has ever asked me that. I’m assuming it would still work it would just flash white and not yellow but I’m not 100% sure.

Yes I did. I swapped out the low beams and the turn signals for upgraded LEDS. I appreciate you saying that.

Hey bro I know I’m commenting on this a year later. But I’m super pumped I jus ordered my anzo headlights and I’m pretty confused on what to do because I thought the lights that come with the anzo will be perfect. I don’t have any extra money to spend on the bulbs because of a tight budget. So I was wondering is the factory lights really that bad?
No they aren’t that bad. If you ever want to save up and upgrade in the future you can do that too. The low beam I installed are definitely a huge upgrade. They are 40 bucks so it’s up to you. Check em out - amzn.to/3B9BENy
Honestly I think you should do the upgrade while you have easy access to the lights. They aren’t two expensive and I think they are worth the upgrade.
@@AutoHeadz hey I ended up buying the led for the low beams but now I’m have a problem with the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. Unfortunately when trying to take out the original bulb I bent the wire clip quite a bit . Due to that once I put my new led in and tried clipping the metal piece back it wouldn’t clip properly but I tried my best and kind have assed the clip onto the bulb. Is that fine? Or should I make sure to redo it and make the clip properly stick on.

@@jimbenning3717 So those retainer clips typically do a good job at holding the light in. As long as you were able to get the wire clip up and over the light you should be ok. If it is so bent that you think the wire is not able to hold it in place maybe ensure that it is locked in. Hope that helps. I’m glad you went with the upgraded bulb. Which one did you get?

I think so. I like how you can’t see the individual led lights on the Anzo’s. Plus the Anzo’s are about $200 cheaper.
Did you change the bulbs on the anzo or use the bulbs that came in it ?
