I really liked Ghost Recon, Future Soldier, would like a game like that again. But this list shouldve been made after Siege, Wastelands and The Division.
Some people didn't like it because they preferred ghost recon advanced warfare 2. Being able to command your team in advanced warfare 2 and how the team dynamics worked was definitiely better in that game, but the missions in future soldier were WAY better, so i prefer future soldier overall. But if you like controlling 3 other guys that ARE ACTUALLY very useful, you basically can't win without mastering how to make your team useful, then definitely pick that game up. For me it was the first game that made your team actually relevant. In all other shooters like call of duty they are just in the way.
I remember the day I tried out the demo for Pandora Tomorrow all those years ago, and it instantly made me a Tom Clancy/Splinter Cell fan. My favorite SC game is undoubtedly Chaos Theory, although Double Agent was also really good.
Surprisingly I owned a few of these titles but I’m glad SC:CT was #1. The game’s graphics, level design, story, lighting, movement mechanics and especially the music from Amon Tobin deserves it. I even started listening to Amon’s unique style of music after this game
At least Blacklist made up for it with it's story and gameplay. I played the original 3 (with Chaos Theory being amazing), but unfortunately not Double Agent (sold out at my gamestop) and Conviction (had a PS3). Blacklist was definitely a blast to play. I don't care what Splinter Cell elitists say about it, you can't deny that it's a great stealth game with a load of freedom.
It is sad that Ironside had to pass the torch, but Eric Johnson did a fantastic job with a perfect blend of honoring his predecessor and doing his own take on the character. Also Blacklist's gameplay was phenomenal, and the story was pretty good too.
I'd personally would've liked Blacklist even more if it was a PREQUEL or even a reboot to the Splinter Cell series rather than a direct sequel to Conviction. I mean Eric Johnson would've killed it as a young Sam Fisher if Ubisoft went for it.
The best on is the original Rainbow Six (it should have been #1 not #5). It had realistic bullet based deaths (no stupid health bar and healing, you took a bullet to the head, you were dead. You chose your gear to survive), permanent death if a team member got shot, required you to plan and strategist your attacks before each mission, and great gameplay. I wish there were more games with that level combination of brains and shooting, that game was amazing. Oh and Vegas 2 was better than Vegas

My first Splinter Cell game was Blacklist, and I have to say it is a VERY enjoyable game. As a Metal Gear fan, I found the stealth mechanics to be really solid and the story was decent too, plus the co-op mode was very addicting. It seems to me that people only hate on this game because Sam wasn't voiced by Michael Ironside and a couple of other petty reasons. Hopefully one day I'll be able to play Chaos Theory which I keep hearing is the best in the series.
Rasti Al Future Soldier is no where near as good as GRAW 2, Vegas 1 is better than Vegas 2, and EndWar can't hold up to any of the legendary games on the list.

But honestly, you can't call yourself a fan of stealth games if you've never played Chaos Theory. Its the kind of game that only comes along like once a decade. And its one of veru few games that actually deserves a HD remaster in my opinion.

Tom Clancy games are awesome ,ghost recon advanced warfighter blew my mind when i was a kid , splinter cell chaos theory is one of the best games of all time and double agent deserves a higher ranking.
Chaos Theory was like the Empire Strikes Back of the Franchise. Massive improvement from Pandora Tomorrow with great and extremely high replay value. Double Agent was like the Return of the Jedi of the series. Not as great as its predecessor, but still fun. Conviction and Blacklist were basically the Prequel Trilogy. Yeah they were cool, but still sat in the shadow of it's predecessor.

Eeh, Conviction is still my personal favorite Splinter Cell game. It's much darker, mature tone attracted me far more than the other games did. Plus, I just found it a joy to play. I know that it departed from it's roots with the other games, but there will never be anything more satisfying than smashing scumbags into piano's, stoves, and urinals on your quest to save your daughter.

totaly agree, im currently playing sc chaos theory for the first time and it is definately worse than blacklist. Basic stealth mechanics dont work here very well, almost no gear/gun customisation, no variety of enemies. Blacklist was improved from chaos theory in all major areas.

I agree with this. Chaos Theory is the only Tom Clancy game that made me interested to play it AND made me satisfied after playing it. In this modern age you usually only got one of the two.
I feel like I'm the only person that likes Double Agent way more than Chaos Theory. The whole trust system between the NSA and JBA was great, and the missions in between story missions in the JBA compound were hectic and fun as hell.
Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 should be #1 & #2 on this list. Yet Vegas 2 isn't even in honorable mentions? It was the first shooter to have such a massive amount of weapon & armor customization, out of the 1500 hours or so that I played Vegas 2, at least 500 of them was in the wardrobe pimping out my soldier.

i love all splinter cell but i always liked blacklist and chaos teory
splinter cell blacklist is the best ever
totaly agree, im currently playing sc chaos theory for the first time and it is definately worse than blacklist. Basic stealth mechanics dont work here very well, almost no gear/gun customisation, no variety of enemies. Blacklist was improved from chaos theory in all major areas.
kucomat There’s not supposed to be customization and gun battles. It’s a realistic stealth game, not a call of duty shoot em up. Chaos Theory is better than blacklist in every single way, shape, and form.

They're 2 different games . Raven shield is PC 3 is console. 3 is not a good version.
raven shield was implied i haven't played the console version. I havent played the ps2 version of double agent either but when i say double agent the ps3 version is implied

Chaos Theory is the only Tom Clancy game that made me interested to play it AND made me satisfied after playing it.
In this modern age you usually only got one of the two.
One frequently overlooked - Red Storm Rising, a submarine sim for 8-bit and 16-bit machines way ahead of it's time.
I feel like I'm the only person that likes Double Agent way more than Chaos Theory. The whole trust system between the NSA and JBA was great, and the missions in between story missions in the JBA compound were hectic and fun as hell.
Ahh, the memories. Half of my PS2 games are Tom Clancy. Fucking amazing they were.
Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 should be #1 & #2 on this list. Yet Vegas 2 isn't even in honorable mentions? It was the first shooter to have such a massive amount of weapon & armor customization, out of the 1500 hours or so that I played Vegas 2, at least 500 of them was in the wardrobe pimping out my soldier.
The Splinter cell series is by far my favorite tom clancey game.
I was hopping to see Tom Clancy's End War here but i guess its one of those forgotten games.

Rainbow six new vegas 2 was the best in my opinion. The new Ghost Recons have changed the game, but miss the tactical element we expect.

My favorite Splinter Cell game was Pandora Tomorrow. But I think this is, because it was my first SC game.
Really surprised not to see Raven Shield on this list.
What about Ghost Recon Advance warfighter. Man that game was so fun, I would play it all day long, heck I still do from time to time.
