Hello, could you please explain me this test to me? I'm confused. BTW I've asked repeatedly to delux if they are going to fix click latency. Answers were generic
Hey, sure! I connected both switches together, so when I closed one switch, it closed the other circuit as well. I tried sharing the same gnd but it didn't work for some reason The program compares the timing between the left and the right click to actuate, so I just used the same switch for both the RMB on the 305 and the LMB on the Delux. The JST connector is just something I added to the G305 because I had in mind to test click latencies between different mice and use it as a reference point, so I wired the switch pins to that. I hope I explained it well! ^^
@@albertoscix2 Yep! The delux is slower than the G305 by 10~14ms in click latency. As we've discussed on reddit and other places before, it's probably because of the debounce time set by Delux. It doesn't affect motion latency, the sensor feels perfectly fine
@@vvvvooooiiiidddd Sorry but may I also ask what is debounce time and if it is possible for delux to fix it with a firmware update? I did my own testing too in the form of a reaction test using both the delux m800 3335 wireless and the razer viper wired and with the razer viper wired I consistently get 10-20ms lower average reaction score. I like to hold tight angles with an AWP because I have fast reaction speed but I feel that with the m800 adding 10-20ms to the time I shoot will have a tangible detrimental impact to my gameplay.
@@dragonl4d216 In short, the debounce time basically ignores that you pressed the button for an x amount of time because of the signal noise that is produced when you press an analog switch. If the debounce time was 0ms, for example, you could have double clicks or maybe more than just two clicks. This graph is pretty self explanatory www2.razer.com/eu-en/razer-optical-mouse-switch There are different debounce algorithms too, like the eager one that registers the actuation as soon as you actuate it but ignores all the noise after that for an x amount of time, thus making the actuation latency as low as possible and ignoring double clicks, or a symmetric debounce, etc. This QMK part explains it quite well too: github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/blob/master/docs/feature_debounce_type.md And yes, Delux could probably fix it with a firmware update, but I doubt they will. I have messaged them about this issue, and some other folks on r/mousereview have too, and we all got ignored lol. They're releasing the Delux M800PRO very soon, which has the 3370 and hopefully they'll be able to fix it, just like the Vancer Gretxa that shares the (possibly) same sinowealth MCU and the 3370 and has adjustable debounce time.
For the normal M800DB 3335 or the PRO with the 3370? The latter already had that option on the chinese drivers. But I haven't seen anything, I'll check it out later and test again if there's an update. It'll probably require a firmware update if that's the case
You can change the debounce time to a lower value with the M800 Pro. Just download the chinese driver and the option is there :D I might buy it later on if there's a good sale on aliexpress, but I'm fine with the GPX atm

Opa!
