I am just starting with my diabetic dog. Out of all the videos, this one is so good and informative. I’m kinda worried, I have a double coated Aussie. I hope I can pull the skin up properly.
Great video! Thank you! Still getting used to giving the insulin to my 13 year old Pug. One thing my vet mentioned was not to go into scruff for some reason? I have heard pros and cons. It definitely is about the easiest spot to grab ahold of. What do you think? Has this recommendation just recently changed? Thanks!
My dog sassy just got diagnosed today. This video made me feel better thank you

Dr. Rogers looks like Australian actress Lisa McCune (when Lisa was a few years younger.)

I don’t have a preference other than under the skin.
My vet never told me I needed to make sure I didn’t get a blood vessel 😫 ugh
Very thorough thx
You’re welcome!
Hey. Doc my dog's real sensitive in that area for injection? Can I give it to her anywhere else?
My vet told me to give the infection towards the back of the dog not the neck area!! Omg is this wrong ?
It’s not wrong as long as it’s under the skin. I just think the neck area is much easier. 😊
It's important to know that if your dog is taking Vetsulin you do have to gently shake the bottle and NOT roll
Does the entire needle go into the skin?
Usually. But it depends on the length of needle you have.
Sorry I can’t understand - you are talking too fast
