I bought one of these a while back, to be included in my '02 Z28 as I put it back together with an LS3. 😁 Watching this video now, I noticed that my stick has a very different design than the one shown in this video. I'm assuming that was an improvement made later on? I'm curious -- why (both in this video and in my actual shifter) is the threaded shifter stick made of stainless steel, but the offset lever is aluminum? I've seen other shifters where those two parts are a combined as a single piece of aluminum, and they're significantly lighter, with no apparent consequences. Do you find an advantage with the steel stick?
Finally... Just received mine yesterday! Thank you Eli for source tracking mine down & getting to me! REALLY Looking Forward to my T.A. Install! Gonna wait till a bit warmer till I address this. When it happens, will definitely get back to you! J
mgw felt softer in between shifts, not as bolt action rifle like when going into gears, id say i slightly enjoyed driving the mgw a little more than the tick
Just pre ordered this shifter for my 02 camaro ss came in earlier then expected works amazing would definitely recommend this shifter it does have centering springs
Morning star Garage oh yeah be a upgrade but I went from stock shifter to a tick shifter was debating on this or Hinson Motorsports shifter but those are over 300 bucks didn’t want spend that much on a shifter n this one seems to be great so far been driving it on daily car back forth to work so far it’s good
I am curious about the centering capability, is it tunable? What size ball does it take? What part of the warranty is limited?

Because t56/tr6060 trans have internal stops. It's unnecessary
