That signals equality and she ends it by raising herself above him and looking down on him, which signals superiority.¨ 2. She knows that the Vanessa and Richard brought into their universe would eventually disintegrate and die painfully, and she gives no fucks. While Kingpin is the main villain she's using him to get her collider built and used.
Prowler is traditionally a thief character, with gadgets he invented himself. He is sometimes an ally and sometimes an enemy of Spider-man. In the Tom Holland Spider-man: Homecoming he is played in live action by Donald Glover. He is seen buying weapons from Vulture's crew and later tells Holland's Peter Parker where to find the bad guys because he's "got a nephew who lives around here" and doesn't want the weapons in the area. We might find out more backstory for this particular version in the third movie, but I think it's fairly safe to assume Uncle Aaron was "doing a job" (as he refers to it when he takes Miles into the tunnel where he is bit) for Kingpin and didn't quite know how messy it'd get. I actually kind of like that they don't try to "redeem" him here because the fact that Miles loves him is all that matters, really.
I totally agree, he has flaws, it makes him a more believable and human character. I remember Donald Glover in Homecoming, two very different depictions of the character haha
Tombstone, Scorpion, and the Prowler all date back to the sixty-seven cartoon, and earlier comics. Scorpion got a southwest make-over for this film. Green Goblin tries to make a super-soldier formula, in this Universe, he wound up the size of a Hulk. There is a lot of metaphor in the film regarding the spiders-man.

The creator wanted to make reference to him since Miles was the first black Spider-Man so early comics (and this movie) you will see the number 42 sprinkled throughout.
So not a reference to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy then... my bad. That reference is a lovely tribute to the first black baseball player though, I guess being from Ireland our baseball knowledge isn't exactly great haha

The first Peter we meet and Miles are from the Ultimates universe. The universe/comic line failed pretty hard, so Miles and one other character (an evil version of Reed Richards called the Maker) were saved from the collapsing universe and brought to ours. Peter B. Parker is an amalgamation of all the "pop culture' spider-men like Tobey Maguire and the animated series. Spider-woman (also known as Spider-Gwen and Ghost-Spider) is from a comic series called Spider-Gwen and she is from Earth-65. Spider-man Noir is from Earth-90214 "Marvel Noir" and never had his own on going series, but did have multiple miniseries that were pretty highly regarded. Peni Parker was created by My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way in 2014 and had an ongoing series called Spider-Geddon. Spider-Ham is the oldest of the bunch having been created in 83 for a cartoony animal parody comic and was popular enough to get picked up for his own ongoing series, "Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham." All the villains for this movie are the ultimate versions of them.
the ultimate universe as a whole was a failure, but ultimate spider-man was a huge success, easily the best selling series out of all of them and usually considered to be one of the best spider-man stories

I know for casual viewers it's a bold move for them to kill off Peter Parker but thats how Miles Morales story started in the ultimate universe. That world's Spider-Man died fighting the green goblin and so Miles decided to take up the mantle when he got his powers.

As a citizen of the United States, I'm conditioned to thinking the US doesn't have any accents. A natural outcome of that, I find most accents outside of the US quite sppealing. And the same is true of yours, though it did initially throw me for a loop because Irish and Scottish accents sound very similar to Americans, and your accents are also far stronger than, say, Jacksepticeye's is. Edit: It's not really relevant to the movie, I just hsd to say something. But I am going to watch your reactions to both of these Spider-Verse films in a bit. I hope you guys enjoyed them.
