This is the BEST VIDEO. That I've watched, and I've watched tons of them. On how to quilt as you go, you explain in very easy to understand details. Along with very good video's, each process along the way. So much so that this has convinced me to join your Channel. And delete all of the other quilt As You Go videos. This is the easiest and fasted method I've seen. I'm planning on sewing a king size, quilt as you go Log Cabin quilt for my son and daughter in law, and it will be too big for my sister's long arm machine. I have confidence I can do it now! Thank you so much for this tutorial!!

With laying the tape down on your throat plate, add a few more layers on top of it to make a sort of 'ledge'. This will assist those who still tend to go over the single layer of tape while sewing.

Long before I found your channel, I made a quilt using this method, but I found the instructions confusing and, unfortunately, I made a lot of mistakes. I was not happy with the finished product. It ended up being quite a bit smaller and not at all what I had invisioned. I was so disheartened, that I was determined to never use the quilt as your go method again.
However, I decided to take a chance on your tutorial because you are an excellent teacher, and I find your voice to be both soft and reassuring at the same time. And because you remain focused and clear with your instructions, I now find myself reconcidering, and seriously, giving this method another chance under your careful guidance. I'm currently working on other projects for the holidays, but perhaps this will be a good place to start off in the new year.

I am about to start my first qayg project with my daughter. I needed the single square large block tutorial and everything I found was for piecing. I love piecing, but not with my 9 year old😂 This looks like something we can tackle together :)

FINALLY!!!! An easy to follow technique to do QAYG. I hated having to add sashing. This way sashing and binding are done all in one step!

Wow I did learn something new! I have a quilting ministry and this would be a way to make some really cute and fast quilts! I make all sizes from baby quilts to king size and I don't have a longarm so this would be perfect! I make quilts for the homeless or for someone who has lost their home due to fire etc., whatever the need! Thank you for your tutorials I "sew" love watching and learning from them! God Bless!
