Kudos to you man for sticking through it and doing the upholstery yourself. Most guys farm that out, it's really really hard to get a good result without many hours of sewing practise, and als using a specialized upholstery machine. But you did a bang up job and it looks really good!
thanks mate yes probably the most budget sewing machine on the market can never underestimate the power of one leather needle, which made all the difference. find the leather needles and you got half a chance. cheers again 🤙🏻
good question here , cheers . without a full engine swap I’d look into porting the block , head and exhaust I have seen this done at home with a die grinder and some patience. smooth out all the imperfections from factory casting will let it breath more and let the oil flow rather the hang up . air in also look into the head port from the carburetor

Luv you're man , I have a 1984 that I'm working on , wondering if you know how to " beef up " the engine a little..?
