    AREX is a seriously underrated gun maker. The Zero 1, Zero 2, and the Delta Gen2 are superbly constructed, boringly reliable, and tough as sh*t (MAC did a torture test that was insane). The Delta is a crazy good deal - optics ready, partially cocked, DA-like striker which is Glock-like, but arguably even safer (especially against fully cocked striker guns like p320, M&P, etc. Ergos are awesome - it’s almost like a slimline double stack. One of the best deals going!

      AREX Delta: The capacity of a G19 with the concealability of a G48 and nicer to shoot than a P365. Perfect EDC.

    Excellent video, we couldn't agree with you more. My husband and I have a collection of HK, Sig Sauer and Walther pistols. We also have three Arex Zero 1 pistols. They are absolutely fantastic pistols.
    We no longer purchase Sig Sauer pistols. We have many of the classic pistols.
    Walther probably has the highest production standard's then HK and Arex.
    This is based upon the examination of the pistols we have.
    Regarding the picitanny rail on the Arex.... We've had no issues putting on a green laser.
    Thank you for sharing your video. God bless 🙏

    There’s something about modern Eastern European guns that just do it for me. CZ, Arex, Grand Power. Etc. not so much on the XD’s but they’re well made.

    Between my brother and I we took our kids to a gun range and shot a variety of about seven different pistols one day… We have gone through everything one time and all three kids asked if we could just shoot the Rex Zero 1 for the rest of the time we were there. my brother and I actually agreed with him. Excellent pistol.

    The Arex does way better than the sig in reliability tests, oddly enough.

    I bought a standard model for my brother it was the newer import from global ordnance We were looking for something affordable, reliable, and it needed to be a DA/SA pistol the later being for various reasons. So I was looking at used berettas, sigs, older S&Ws, CZs. Then my brain linked a few neurons and I was like, Why not look into the Arex, I had seen reviews on them in the past I knew they were probably in the price bracket we were looking for so I found one for $400 new. That was a done deal.
    Frankly I was astounded by the fit and finish I went to compare it to my sigs and my older HK USP. From a personal observation it looked better than the standard consumer level sigs and it looked as nice as my USP. I was shocked by the price to what you got. While I had read reviews on the DA being heavy, They were true, but it seemed like any other military DA pistol I had messed with and the biggest thing was it didn't stack or bind up. (where my EG framed 229 does have a hickup in the trigger.)
    Skip forward a week and I found a used compact tactical which I decided to pick up. It was from the Fime group imports. The slide and frame were of the same quality however the finish on the barrel was not as nice due to noticeable machining marks. Seeing your video, I believe that has been changed in the newer production as yours looks great just as the one I got for my brother.
    Unless you were going legion series or something above I honestly couldn't see buying another sig if your only reason for buying it was self defense or just having a gun.
    Next I really want to get one of their Alphas but I'm waiting to see if they drop a updated model. Plus I had ordered a RAD 9 for my arex and other pistols so I'm waiting on that.

    Great video 👍 I'm a big fan of the Sig P226 and Arex looks like a decent one to pick up one day. Greetings from North East Arkansas nice to see more AR based RUclipsrs.

    Sig Sauer has done an amazing job with their r@d and also with getting the military contract. They pretty much crushed everyone else with their lowball pricing but gambled they would be able to get a high premium from the public and the gamble paid off big-time! I love Sigs design and function for the most part I just don't trust them completely and do not see the value for the outrageous price they demand.
    I got a arex zero 1 tactical last week. Normally 775 locally I picked up a brand new one for 425.00! Couldn't believe the gun lasted a week ar that price but it did and im thrilled! I've shot the Sig 226 before and I loved the gun but for the price it was a pass on my part. They are charging double what they should for the gun and im No ones Fan boy and I don't play that game. The Arex Zero 1 shoots amazing. The trigger while heavy in DA does not feel near as heavy as they say it is. The only thing I really dislike about the arex zero 1 is the grips but I can change them out and still he 400 dollars plus ahead!

    I think that's a beautiful gun. Besides having a similar look to HK and Sig, just an opinion, yet I sense some Beretta 92 inspiration there as well. Primarily with the frame and grip texturing.

    • @wcstrawberryfields8011
      @wcstrawberryfields8011 Год назад

      The CZ 99 is the common denominator, internally.
      I'd read that the head executive at AREX formerly worked at SIG in Germany. Bubitz, the new handgun designer at Steyr, was an engineer at Glock just down the street. Probably an incestuous little industry over there...

    I've wondered if the difference in price (SIG/AREX) is simply the cost of Slovenian labor, albeit skilled. I've read that a P320 only costs $50 in materials but then you pay $4-500 for American (Unionized?) labor.

    • @TheArkansasGunGuy

      I wondered the exact same thing because their quality is top notch!! Thanks for watching!!!

    • @ramzankadyrov6035
      @ramzankadyrov6035 4 месяца назад +1

      It is exactly because of that. Cost of raw materials is less. Labor is less. That’s why I fuck with Eastern European guns. CZ, Arex, Grand Power. Etc. the quality to cost ratio is great.
