ur always so awesome
I just filled out my paperwork yesterday and I should be headed to MEPS Monday, so I haven't selected my job yet. I have talked with a few older family friends who served in the Navy and they said that AM is definitely a great way to go. I have to finish school up so my ship date isn't until after August. Thank you for making this video! It really helped kind of solidify my decision before I get to MEPS.
Thanks for all your help JT! I just dep in today and guess what, I’m apart of the AM community now! It’s crazy because I’ve been watching your videos for a few months for guidance and ended up getting the same Rate as you!
ayeee fellow Framer !
Thank you for the video and sharing your experience. I’m an A pact that just picked up AM.
I just enlisted as an AM yesterday! Thanks for all of the good info on the navy. It's definitely helped!
How is it?
I just swore in yesterday 20190205. I scored a 67 on my asvab. And the jobs I had in mind were not available but AM was among many other jobs. My grandfather served 20yrs as an AE so I thought it would be a good fit for me. Mind you I'm 27yrs old jumping into this. Your videos and nicky's both have been a great help and influence
When do you ship?
Great video my guy. I scored a 78 on the asvab too and I signed for AM. I’m leaving for bootcamp on August 14 less than two weeks!
Signed as AM yesterday and I ship at the end of the year ! Thanks for the info and hopefully I can grind my work as hard as you 💪
u got this !
How has it been?
Willie balls! haha I love your videos! I enjoy hearing about the stuff you did in the navy. I'm currently in Meridian, MI at LS A-School and it gives me something to look forward to in the navy, hearing all the things you got to do gets me excited to get into the fleet. Your videos inspire me to keep trying my hardest, even at the little things, like shining my boots. Thank you.
keep up the good work bro !
can't wait I just signed up yesterday for AM in the navy
Dude, something about you is cool and down to earth as fuck. Love these videos.
Another good vid! Like your bike to! Just 4 more days till I head back to MEPS and see what I qualified for and sign my contract....getting really excited lately lol. Look forward to more vids!!!
Man! I wanna learn how to ride soon!! Eventually, it'll happen! Awesome video battle !

Willy balls
Hey JT! I’m leaving 2 October 2019 for boot and I’m going in as an AM, so I love checking out your videos! Could you clarify how long do we actually spend in A school and C school before we make it to the fleet? Thanks ✌🏻
Love the motovlogs!!
Love your stuff man👌🏽👏🏽👍🏽🎥☝️🙏

Awesome video.
The video I've been waiting for the most #blessed
;)
Been in the DEP for the marines for a few months now, just secured a contract as an aircraft mechanic, waiting to ship out now in October!
Hi JT, I am a senior in high school right now and thinking about joining the navy. I was wondering if you had any info that would make the join easier, as in perks and schooling opportunities. Also I received an 80 on my asvab, what jobs do you think would be open for me in the Navy?
I love these rides. I have two question,s when did you talk to the recruiter and how long after high school did you have to wait to go to boot camp??
Hey im wondering about what your doing after the military.
Im joining as an AM as well & im curious about what career path are best afterwards.
Nice vid! When I visited PNAS it was just an incredibly depressing place, your take?
Good video JT. I swore in as an AM yesterday and I ship off Aug 18. I may be reaching out If I have questions. I hope you're doing well!
I really appreciate ur videos their getting me really excited for my navy career im also gonna be an am is there any advice u can give me

Just enlisted and my MOS is ASM. I followed your videos throughout my time trying to enlist and its awesome finding out you're an AM!! Had no idea
congrats yo !!! are you going marines or navy ???
@@jtmnavy Navy!! Pensacola after Basic and everything
cool !!! ur job in the Navy is called ur rating or rate ,, not MOS by the way ,, MOS is marines :)
--- and yeah bro Aviation Mechanic is dope ,, try and go to a helo squadron if you can :D !
@@jtmnavy Haha I need to remember that I appreciate that information. Any reason in particular I'd want to be in a helo squad? and which one I should try to be in?
Story time, love it.
Love you JT! Heading out 28 Feb for the air force Cyber Transport systems
-Uncle J
enjoy ur last month !
Currently in Pensacola FL at NATTC for AM! Foxtrot barracks GW! Can't wait to class up and start school!
John Doe lol now I’m currently in Pensacola FL at NATTC. How’s the fleet? I’m going to be going to C school soon.
bro now AM school is like 2 months, and they fast paced it very fast which makes it harder LMAO
watup fam Willy balls, but yeah I leave for boot camp in 43 days and I've been in dep for 8 months now, but I first contacted my recruiter in February of 2016, the wait is real
BEST OUTRO EVER ❤️😂😂
I just graduated not to long ago and im going in as an Aviation Mechanic that's the job I'm going for
Love the pause of commentary to pin the bike at 11:52 lmao
Hey JT just wondering if Willy's balls will be available on itunes soon?
right on the money.
going through that right now.
barracks support chill......... and took 2 1/2 weeks to class up
Good explanation shipmate
hey JT, I am a junior in high school and I was interested in enlisting after school. however I have a mild stutter and was wondering if that would be a disqualifier for me?
Hey @jtsuits love this video this is exactly what I'm looking for! I am an AM in the DEP. is there anyway besides being lucky to go from A school to C school?? Thanks man for the videos
Hey JT I wanted to ask the process and chances of joining an aircrew?
Do you know anybody that's a GM I swear I can't find a video on that title for my life. Love the videos brotha
Hey man, I'm heading to basic in just over a week here and you've been a big help.
I'll be going in as an AE or AT, and thought I might ask if you had any rate specific advice as you worked closely with them.
Also, what's the best recruit leadership position to take if you had to recommend one? I'm tryna make that E-3, lmao.
best leadership and easiest ,, try to become a section leader
You should make a video about Pensacola and like what downtime and stuff like that is like there
Hey JT I'm in P-cola right now (AE School) any fun things you recommend to do?
hey JT what kinda scores do i need on my asvab to do something with aviation in the Navy? I suck at math and im ok with science. on my practice test i did great on the other sections like auto and shop, assembling objects etc.
Would you rank up faster being i-level or o-level?
I leave 23092020 and I’m only freaking out a little bit.. what do you do now that you’re out and have the rest of your life ahead of you?! Thank you for sharing! You make it seem possible while adding a little comic relief. Thank you!
How has it been?
so what do you do now for work ?
**Willie Balls** (video was running as I was typing this) :)
I ship in January for AM. My main concern is how it will set me up for the civilian life after the military. I know there are jobs this relates to. but, my question is how good are these jobs and what is the probability someone fresh out of the service would get them?
Nice Video!
Can you talk about how being part of aircrew works being an AME, or about the navy enlisted aircrew program?
Willie's balls! continue the vids man you're the best
hey so this video is a bit old but i just swore in and everything, I got my 8 year contract as a PACT and i think i learned a good amount from this video, I think I'm looking forward to it and after my apprenticeship i was most likely going to choose AM, to be the job i go with, i was also wondering on how the living condition are on a carrier because i haven't talked to anyone that has been on one yet. just a little curious on it you should also do a video on boot camp.
just going back and watching this after becoming a rated AM is crazy…
I'm an AM. Heading to bootcamp this Monday. thanks for all the videos fam! lmao Willy balls!
good luck fellow AM brethren !
JTsuits Do you have any travel video blogs from your time on deployment? That would be cool to see
I'm just really curious, how does an AM become an LSE? Cuz LSE sounds cool but not super keen on being a mechanic
Originally joined as AM, got rerated from AM to CTI 1 month and a half after I depped in. I want to travel to as many places as I can, but now many people have told me CTI usually don't really leave US or something like that... #Bummer
"Wait, what?!" Willie ____________, so funny!!!
I was an AMS in HS-3 based out of NAS JAX attached to the USS Saratoga. Pretty much went through the same experience as you but different locations. Was wondering how nervous you were the first LSE experience, especially that first night landing when you hear the Air Boss say "Need an LSE, spot 3!" Also being an LSE, you had total control of of who could enter and exit the rotor span and giving directions to your officers, including your XO and CO.
dooood i was shitting my pants in front of the bird when i did my first solo LSE ,,, especially at night with the wands lol i was so nervous
Hey bro how'd you jump from E-1 to E-3? And something off topic...I was told I was too fat to join the Navy. Given the fact I'm 5'10 & 225 not knowing the max weight for my height is 191..DIdn't know they had weight requirements :/
AM2. You, like I did, seem to have a lot of Navy built up inside of us. We both did our 4-5 years and moved on in our lives (by way of getting our bachelor's degree) but still have a desire to talk about our Navy career. Do you think you talking about and reminiscing, like i did, our Navy career some years after the fact is a symptom of PTSD or some other shit? Real question here and not hating.
#askjt good question brother ,, could be an interesting talking point
as a 24 year old thinking about going NAvy for AM, how/when did you get your bachelor's? while active still orrr?
willieballs. I've been listening to Willie Nelson all day no joke!
Hey I'm joining the navy and I want to be a aviation structural mechanic. Is there any way you could tell me more about it like work hours and stuff like that and how hard it is to make rank
Got my rate as an AD. You were a huge inspiration for my choice in joining the navy. Thanks fam
yo hell yeah wat up fellow Aviation fam !
Wazaaaaaaaaaap. Would you go more in depth on how one gets their qualifications (quals) and that stuff exactly in aviation? Just an idea. Thanks bro!
def !
Much appreciated homie!
12:55 - That's Bangor Base, where I processed out of too!!
yup yup good ole Bangor WA
It was pretty chill. I went to Seattle over the weekend to go to Pike Place Market and the OG Starbucks!!
My Navy experience will be similar, I'm leaving as an AO and will go to Pensacola for A school. Aviation Mechanic is what I wanted for my rate
Hey dude, what model and year is your Harley?
Wow I can learn a lot from you. I had to subscribe hahaha. And you made it soo simple for me. I want to be a aircraft mechanic just like you and join the squadron, I'm just scared that I won't remember all the helicopter parts, or Airplane parts. I want to learn a lot, and I'm really great in physics and electrical like Ohms and stuff like that. It would be great to help me out a little. I'm in 10th grade by the way, but I've been taking the ASVAB practice test almost everyday. And one more thing "Willy Balls" lmfao!!! 😂😂😂. But thanks man I'll be sure to watch more videos.
Hey I’m going to be a 15d air craft power train repair What could you tell me to put me above the power curve
Did you get to choose your airframe??
the ending had me lol, Willie Huevos lol
Ayyyyyyye Pouya in the introoooo
Dude I am literally in the exact same boat as you. Same Rate and everything. Although I'm only gonna be in the DEP pool for a month and a half.
Lol Shakewellllllllll intro.
Keep it up, come out to Miami some time
Just came out of boot camp yesterday am headed to cola tomorrow
Do you recommend AM or AD?
I'm doing ato schooling now and am about two weeks till graduation and then I go to sand diego I hope to make petty officer here in about two years but thank u for ur service
papas raw !
Hey arnt you JTsuits gaming channel??
Helo me up baby!
Tell us tales,
Of structures,
On the high seas,
Of cabbages and kings,
And helicopter things!
I like how you don't mind looking crazy with the hand gestures while talking on a red light LOL.
Edit: Willie Nelson's cojones.
lol trust me i was gettin' some looks >.
