Louis had a beautiful little helper, Emma is growing up fast. I’ll miss Louis, he’s an amazing helper to Edd. I wish him well in his future endeavors. The front door will be beautiful, I love the colors you’ve chosen. ❤
The door is going to look amazing once it’s finished. Good bye Louis, it has been our absolute pleasure to watch you, you bring humour and hard work to Anna and Ed’s projects. I for one wish you so much luck with your Hat business and will miss you on the vlogs. Much love to you all K🇬🇧❤️❤️
Sorry Louis is leaving. Sweet to see him showing Emma what he was doing and let her help a little. I think the door will be beautiful when it is finished. ❤
Having shutters that close is important for during storms and if the house needs to be closed up for any reason they are extra security. Keeping as much of the old stuff as you can is what gives the building it's Character. Some people pay extra for Character. Anna is right!!
Louis is a very nice, kind man who is a hard worker too with a sweet nature and smile. He will be missed but hopefully we’ll see him from time to time. Best of luck Louis on your shop business. Emma is so adorable and growing up. Cute little helper.
Louis has to get his own vlog going. He is so funny outgoing and frank, I'd like to know more about his work with Anglos and who knows we might all buy hats!😉🤠
There is definitely lead in that paint so don’t breathe in the airborne particles. Great job Louis!!! You will be missed tremendously. Best wishes on your new journey and never stop smiling. ❤
Gosh I felt like crying when Louis left 😢 Wishing him all the very best, living your dreams is always the best way forward- much love to everyone on the team.
I hope you sell many hats Louis. We are all looking forward to hearing and seeing your progress. Edd and Anna everything is coming together nicely. The door is a show stopper!!
That door is one of the most gorgeous pieces! Sad to know Louis is leaving🤧 But wishing him the most success at his new endeavor! Best of luck Louis!❤❤🎊🎊🥳🥳
Edd, during a heat wave closing the shutters makes a big difference, even with double-glazed windows. It will help save on energy bills. We will really miss Louis, as I'm sure you both will.
Yes! Absolutely! You can never have too much storage. Maybe a shallow indented space on the door for t.p. etc., but definitely keep the full depth of the space for storing other things! 🧻🪠☺️
Emma has grown so very much! So pretty ... Great helper to Louie! So sweet. Great job Louie!!! Oh we will miss you Louie ... All the best to you. This door is going to be amazing!!! Can't wait to see it finished. The windows look so very good! The metal work is so awesome! Great video and catch up. All the best!
Sad to see Louis go. Will be great to see his shop all set up. Looking forward to seeing the progress and finishing of the door and those gorgeous iron railings. You’re doing a beautiful job guys.
Do you not have sandblasters or people that maybe could dip the metal if you could get it out to strip it? That was one hard job. Louis, you’re sure gonna be missed. You’re such a happy person and We enjoy watching you.
Hi Edd, You should apply one more HEAVY COAT of stripper. Let it dry and REMOVE the iron grate from the door frame so you don't damage the wood. Then use a PRESSURE WASHER on the iron. Repeat stripper if necessary but the pressure washer should do the trick for you.
We will miss Louie and his humorous jokes. All the best to him in his new endeavour. The project is coming along slowly but surely. I respect the hard work and the passion by Edd and his team to transform this abandoned premises.
Build a set of shelves in a cabinet on wheels to fit in the bathroom under the stairs. Make them so they’ll fit easily next to the loo. Easy to remove if you need to get to the area under the stairs.
The outside of the building is looking soooo much better after the thorough bleach wash. And as Edd has noted, he will show us what the finished walls will look like after he sands down, replaces damaged stone, and renders where required. Based on the work done at the Passion Project, it will no doubt be spectacular. Look forward to seeing it🤗
Emma looks more like her Mama every day! For some reason, I thought the whole door was metal. It's going to be lovely! We will all miss Louis, but wish him well in his shop.
That door is gorgeous and bringing back the wrought iron to black it will be awesome. The Bijoux house lovely little name. Amazing progress Ed and Anna. So glad the wrought iron is going to be welded/ repaired and put back on the front it’s in keeping with. ❤
RE tips for stripping, get the cheapest plastic wrap you can find, and layer it on top of the stripper as soon as you apply the stripper on the surface you are stripping. It keeps the active ingredients from evaporating as quickly, and it helps keep the paint from hardening again. When you are ready to remove the paint, pulling off the plastic wrap also pulls off quite a lot of the softened paint with it.
@@wendysinclair-smith984 The stripper I used didn't melt the plastic. Caveat, though: I was using an "orange stripper" that I purchased here in California in the US. Best to test the plastic wrap beforehand with the stripper they are using.
We will definitely miss Louis! Glad we'll get to see him later! So lovely to see Emma working with Louis, she's adorable! Absolutely love the idea of glass instead of wood behind the metal in the door❤❤
Wow! The beautiful detail of the flowers on the door that were smothered in paint. Well done Louis and good luck with your future ventures, you will be missed.
No wonder Louie left, you had him removing paint from the door and baby sitting your daughter, teehee. Ed, I have watched people braze cast iron to weld it back together with great results, they fix and restore old wood burning stoves that have broken pieces, they use a torch and brass rod and weld it up, be well my friends, your daughter is just beautiful.
If you're taking the frame out to put a window in the door, why not take the metal grill out and have it acid dipped. Love watching the channel, keep up the good work.
Edd,Anna,Emma, and Louie. Wonderful intro with Louie and Emma. Good job on stripping the door of paint. The project will look beautiful once completed. You should be very proud. Until next time. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🥤😇🕊👍🙏🌹🇺🇸❤️🌞🌈
Dear Edd and Anna, your chocolate box is coming along, beautifully; the tall front door will be spectacular after the metalwork gets cleaned to the bone by your door doctor, then re-painted, again...Bon voyage to dear Louis; what a special worker and friend he has been. Hoping to see videos of his new enterprise in London, creating hats, once he gets going on that...Fun, too, to see your little one, Emma, and dog, when door scraping was being tackled...Know that your project is moving towards completion at a good clip, now...Amazing how the end is in view. Many thanks for including us, your viewers, in your re-storing, remodeling endeavors.
Emma is a lovely young lady! Fun to see her helping Louis. Glad you settled on blue for the door, but would suggest gold for the iron work as well as the doorknob and knocker. That would be stunning!
I think the iron parts should be sandblasted separately and than powdercoated. That way they will be safe from rust forever. I would put a glass pane behind the iron instead of the wood panel. It will make the entrance much lighter from inside.

yeah I thought the original blue was beautiful
Going to miss Louie but I am so happy he is going to pursue his dream!
Absolutely, wishing you all the very , very, very best‼️
What a pleasure to see Louis patiently showing and encouraging Emma to help with the door. Lovely.😊
I always appreciate that Edd doesn’t expect Louie to do what he won’t do himself. Always pitches in no matter how difficult
It's called Edd mode! I mean he him self said it" the duracell bunny" 😂
Noooooo........! What are we gonna do without Louis!😢
Sorry Louis is leaving. Sweet to see him showing Emma what he was doing and let her help a little. I think the door will be beautiful when it is finished. ❤

Louis has to get his own vlog going. He is so funny outgoing and frank, I'd like to know more about his work with Anglos and who knows we might all buy hats!😉🤠
Those red roses are the best I have seen for along time
I am amazed that your daughter has already grown up so much and clearly she and Louis like each other! How lovely!
Yes they do….. but Louis is just Jenny’s dad (Jenny is a little French bull dog that Emma adores)
Edd, Louis has been such a good assistant and Vlog character for you, maybe in the future you devote an episode to Louis’ hat shop
There is definitely lead in that paint so don’t breathe in the airborne particles. Great job Louis!!! You will be missed tremendously. Best wishes on your new journey and never stop smiling. ❤
Gosh I felt like crying when Louis left 😢
Wishing him all the very best, living your dreams is always the best way forward- much love to everyone on the team.
Best wishes to Louie! He will be missed. Looking forward to seeing his shop.
What!!!??? Emma was a baby two weeks ago! Now suddenly she’s a big girl!! 😮❤✨🇦🇺
Au revoir Louis, good Luck with your business!!😊
I hope you sell many hats Louis. We are all looking forward to hearing and seeing your progress.
Edd and Anna everything is coming together nicely. The door is a show stopper!!
Hats! Hope to see them! 👍🎩👒🧢
Sad to see Louise go ,going to miss him 😭
Louise! Has he changed sex too?
Louie is a terrific worker and quite a personality. Hope he returns soon.
Guys so happy you’re treating this door with a lot of respect….. it’s beautiful ⚒️🔨👍🫵🏻
That door is one of the most gorgeous pieces! Sad to know Louis is leaving🤧 But wishing him the most success at his new endeavor! Best of luck Louis!❤❤🎊🎊🥳🥳
will miss you Louis!! Great good luck in your future.❤
I wish all the success in the world to Louis and his hat shop! I will be looking forward to seeing him in future vlogs!
Louie, thank you so much for all the smiles, hard work and cheeky ness Hope we get links to your next venture ❤will miss you around.
Edd, during a heat wave closing the shutters makes a big difference, even with double-glazed windows. It will help save on energy bills.
We will really miss Louis, as I'm sure you both will.
That makes me sad that Louie is gone. He was so much fun.
Cubby hole in bathroom - storage!!! Vacuum Cleaner, mops, dust bin, cleaning supplies... oh my!
Yes! Absolutely! You can never have too much storage. Maybe a shallow indented space on the door for t.p. etc., but definitely keep the full depth of the space for storing other things! 🧻🪠☺️
Make the bottom of that bathroom storage space have wheels for pulling out and easier access.
There is not a lot of space under the stairs for one rolling cabinet. You would need to make a series of rolling shelves. 😊
The front will look beautiful when you are done. Sorry to see Louis go and thrilled for him with his new adventure. Live long and prosper Louis.
Take care Louis. You will be missed. Praying for success and happiness in your future.
Hey Louie, don’t stay away for too long mate….. your a STAR 🍺🎉🎉🔥⚒️🔨🫵🏻❤️
Au revoir, Louis. Don't stay away too long and good luck! Bonne chance!

Can't wait to see it finished. The windows look so very good! The metal work is so awesome! Great video and catch up. All the best!
Louie has has had good teachers and can converse in English too!
Emma is getting to be such a big girl! She will be in charge soon! ❤😂
Anytime you can restore the original look of the architecture is a definite win! 🍻
What a gorgeous little helper! And it's nice to see the doggies again, hope they're doing good! That door is going to be fabulous! Bye Louis!
Sad to see Louis go. Will be great to see his shop all set up. Looking forward to seeing the progress and finishing of the door and those gorgeous iron railings. You’re doing a beautiful job guys.
Looks like Emma and Louie are good friends ❤
That door really is perfect for the build and the neighborhood. Can’t wait to see it in place!
Do you not have sandblasters or people that maybe could dip the metal if you could get it out to strip it? That was one hard job.
Louis, you’re sure gonna be missed. You’re such a happy person and We enjoy watching you.
Dipping would be best. Then dip for rust prevention.
When using paint stripper gel, I cover the entire item in gel then cling film to help the gel cure. Doing a great job guys. Will miss Louis x
No! Say it is not so! We love seeing Louie!!!!

If possible the pressure washer idea is a good one. I concur. 🙂
And remove the hardware so that the wood can be sanded properly.
I am just thinking the same…a pressure washer will do the trick!
louis you made a grand job of that door. emma diy like her daddy. shes so adorable. ed the build is looking fab. all the best to louis for the future.
Louis certainly had a beautiful helper today, Emma dug right in there !
Bye Louie, hope your hat business goes well.
We will miss Louie and his humorous jokes. All the best to him in his new endeavour. The project is coming along slowly but surely. I respect the hard work and the passion by Edd and his team to transform this abandoned premises.
Louis was such an asset in this project. Great personality. The door is going to be beautiful as will the shutters. I’ve enjoyed every episode.
The very decorative metal work that was in pieces is so pretty. I am eager to see that being restored. It must be a fascinating process.
Definitely will miss Louie. The outside looks so amazing now. Must feel so good to see it all progressing
Louie is a gem!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Can’t wait to see Louis’s La chapellerie!
Although the metal railings may not add too much monetary value, the authentic value is priceless. What a beauty you are breathing life back into ❤
So cute, Louis with his little partner in crime, Emma, hiding from Edd!
Emma looks more like her Mama every day! For some reason, I thought the whole door was metal. It's going to be lovely! We will all miss Louis, but wish him well in his shop.
Louis has a MINI- ME assistant!!! LOL
Louis will be missed.
Gonna make me sad Louie,is going on to bigger and better things for him ,I understand! I will miss him on your channel Good luck

I love the wall of roses. I just may paint that in canvas one day...
That door is gorgeous and bringing back the wrought iron to black it will be awesome. The Bijoux house lovely little name. Amazing progress Ed and Anna. So glad the wrought iron is going to be welded/ repaired and put back on the front it’s in keeping with. ❤

Sorry to see Louis leaving. Wishing him much success with his business. Love the colors for the door 😍😘
Oh wow look at Emma all grown up and she already has so many of your looks and mannerisms Anna x
Anna I miss seeing you in the vlogs . I know you are working hard behind the camera though! Hope to see you too sometime soon ! 💖👍
Agree!!!

how wonderful bringing back the history.

Wire brush will also work well on the iron.
🙂perfect idea to put glas in the door and even more perfect that one is able to open and clean it 👍
Your daughter is the prettiest little girl! So sweet.
Louis you are such a hard worker.! Will miss Louis!
The door is going to be a show stopper. Cast iron looks best when black and wears better. The detail is charming.
Louey one day you will make an excellent dad😊
The door is lovely glad you're taking off all the old paint on the ironwork to show the detail ❤
The new windows really change look of house!!
Yes, they sure do!
OMG! Louis Walks Out! Louis Walks Out!🤣😂🤣😂🙃🤯🤯🤯🤯
Edd and Anna are such fun to watch, not only am I entertained but I learn so much. Thanks, can’t wait for another flower and wedding video.
Love those Red roses. I think you should leave that metal railing on the window and have another one made for the other window.
Can all the upper big windows have that beautiful railing, please!? It will really help Bijoux House feel even prettier.
Such a beautiful door! We will miss you Louie!
❤🎉 what a life guy's 🥰
Lui Is a gem for sure Ed 🤝
Emma is Louis helper today.
Awww 🥰! Louie is such a nice and humble guy. Edd and you are lucky to have him cause he’s so reliable! ❤

In Bordeaux this weekend and visited the address, no one present but we had a great lunch @ Le Labo patisserie, Cenon-la-Bastide, really nice area ...
That door is amazing! Coming along so beautifully!! Good luck, Louis!!
I like the idea of the metalwork in black and the wood in blue ❤😊🇦🇺
The door is getting more and more exquisite ❤

What a great practical & beautiful idea to have a hinged window on the door❣️
