About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Another option is a small patio area; you could put them as planter boxes along the edge. You might have to add some legs to them so they sand up. But I'm sure you have 100 ideas. I can't wait to see.
Paula certainly deserves her own cottage - she is the unsung hero at the chateau - such a hard worker.

I would be too! All the ideas I’d have for it would motivate me everyday no matter how tired I got. That’s what gets projects like this done, plus an excellent to-do task checklist!
You should keep the hay feeders! You or someone else will be able to use them. They just need a good clean & paint. New ones are extremely expensive! Don’t toss anything you can make money selling.
Goodness me, no one could ever call you lot shirkers. That will be a lovely little cottage for them ❤

This is our Canadian Thanksgiving - many could take a lesson in how family works from you all.
Already see the completed cottage. Look at what you have done with Tracey and Johnathan s beautiful home. Love how you all work as a team. And yes, those feeders should be used as flower troughs outside the cottage. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Can I make a suggestion? Mark where the drainage is going to be and get Patrick on the job of digging. Only kidding 🤗

The water troughs could make great planters for the front of that little building and even someplace else. They are beautiful they look like they are copper. Reusable for another purpose and keeping the history of the building is so important. ❤😊

Those old metal feeding/watering troughs would look wonderful upcycled as window boxes attached to the outside this new cottage you are creating and would pay homage to what the building once was. I just imagine them overflowing with flowers.

Hmmm...those hay mangers could be used in the veggie garden to grow peas and cucumbers on and the troughs might make nice window boxes for flowers...with a big of cleanup and paint!
