From Canadian National rumbling along the “Yazoo Subdivision”, slow shortlines, 80mph Amtrak trains, and 60mph KCS local freights, this video shows it all!
We start out on the CN Yazoo Sub from Memphis to Jackson, then move south onto the CPKC/NS joint “Meridian Speedway” in Louisiana and Mississippi. To end off the video, we find Alabama & Tennessee River Railway lugging a train through Albertville, AL.
As a surprise to most of you, we even pay a visit to the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid in Memphis, TN, and the Duck Commander Warehouse in West Monroe, LA! Duck Dynasty was a reality television show that first aired back in 2012, it showcased the “Robertson” family and their adventures in mid-Louisiana. This show includes alligators, which we even came across while shooting trains!

Great Video Nathan! Let me know if you ever have plans to record shortline railroad videos or train action in Texas! I can fix you up with a tour of the railroad i work for. Also there are some interesting railroads in this part of Texas, such as the Texas State Railroad, the Fort Worth and Western Railroad, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad just to name a few! Saginaw Texas and Big Sandy Texas are the train Action Hot Spots in this area! I have freinds on the Texas State Railroad that i am sure would be happy to give you a tour of that railroad and their Awesome painted vintage FP9 locomotives!
