The death at 12:06 where the mage killed the mind controlled rogue was actually confirmed by the mage to be a intentional kill. Apparently the rogue had said earlier in the discord vc that he was gonna be needing on materials (like the righteous orbs) for the guild bank. The mage didn't join the call and therefore didn't know. He got pissed at the rogue for needing on everything and so he decided to fuck the rogue when he had the chance.

It's not like you can use communication to settle differences, totally unheard of. No, stabbing each other in the back at every opportunity sounds like a much more constructive strategy.

About the sunken temple thing: Blizzard should just detect deaths to the void below the map and allow people to revive in that case. Or replace the death plane with a teleport plane.
Yeah having a death plane outside the map in a permadeath game is very weird

11:58 that 1066 crit is what killed the rogue. He had 725 hp left and took an additional 341 damage over his current hp, which put him in the dead category and thus he died.

Most people know when you hit 0 hp you die but most dont realize that if you go below 0 hp you also die

The number of people in HC that refuse to use CC just astounds me. They treat it like retail and just AoE tank everything, and then act surprised when it doesnt work.
I love Asmon calling out Frontier around 7:30 or so. I’ve seen a few clips of them and while they have really great leadership and I imagine the core is solid, some of the players are just dog water. It’s wild.
I've played with/know of a lot of the players in that guild from Classic and guys like Ahmpy/Bobka/Nineteen/Jaelaw are absolutely cracked but they also have a bunch of absolute clowns on board. Idk if I could raid hardcore with people who are that bad and risk wasting that much of my time. Yam lost his character because the RAT druid wanted to DPS instead of doing his job.
How could I forget Windforce, maybe the best tank in Classic history.

I was doing that warrior quest for the first time and didn't know he attacks so after accepting i went afk to piss and some amazing priest healed me from 5% and murked him. had to redo but i'll love that priest forever
Yeah, it is kind of one of these golden rules.
Never accept (start) a quest and go afk.
There is no need to do that, you always can accept it after you came back. Even if you have to wait again, if the npc isn't available - it is always better to wait, than to risk death, losing hours or even days / weeks of progress, just to save a minute or two for convenience.
Just like: don't take unneccessary risks if there is not a good reason to do so (can't always follow protocol in some circumstances - but blindly following it when there is good reason to deviate from it could lead you into trouble too).
Other golden rules:
>Use the health potion (some people die to save a potion, like "it will be fi-... oh, I'm dead")
>Finish off the low hp mob
>Use cc, if you have it
>Don't pull without full hp/mana
>Have a plan before you get into the situation (so many people doing slight mistakes, because they didn't think it through and then have to come up with something on the spot, eventually doing something they wouldn't have done if they had thought it through at least a little bit)
Basic stuff. But getting the drill to avoid getting into slacking and die to stupid stuff is a big deal, imo.

Just about every ZG raid someone stands in poison cloud to see loot and dies.
blizz should give you a free rez if your death is ruled totally lame by the community
14:00 the feign was actually perfect. It's possible to not stay long enough that they don't actually drop aggro, but that's not what happened. Once they go to move back (provided not still in combat with anything else, like pet) is the opportunity to get the maximum distance away from them while they go back to leash spot.
Watching Eastern Plaguelands deaths gives me PTSD... fck that zone seriously never ever underestimate this zone even at 60 with good gear

I like how people think they can just mass pull mobs thinking it is retail.
Every BWL I've done has always had druids hibernate spam those dragon spellcasters, and that's all they did on those pulls. I remember one time the hunters messed up the kite or something, and the raid took an extra thirty seconds to get back into the room. I saw one of the druids pop a mana potion because he ran oom hibernating and he just kept going until the raid got back into the room to kill the mob. Not a single fireball volley went out.
Watch the pull before this where I was assigned to hibernate, no fireballs went out :) I was told I wasn't needed on this pull

About that rogue, he has threatmeter its on the HP bar, its on the moon, you can see it if check closly, I got the same ones, but of course more setup x)

What realy killed the warior in bwl is that spell that trades ur health to rage . ( generates agro more then mana regen )
When you use it befor you pull in a fight were there is casters if md's are not well managed all adds that cast will cast their spells on you he eat 2 of them and the volley finished him.
I know his pain I lost my lvl 40 because I fell threw the wall at undercity elevator then instantly became a alliance player
Asmon has no idea about the bwl clip, those caster dragons usually get 1 cast off because the druid isnt in range and not only that but it can get resisted easily. The warrior died bcs of battleshout overaggro
These videos made me re sub to try. After 5 toons I had to stop and just went to level an e z mode alt on wrath clsssic. Now I think I’m ready to try again
Guy at 7:30 probably killed himself. He had Flame Buffet up which increases your fire damage taken by 1000, then he spam attacked the Captain who has a thorns buff(Aura of Flames) causing 100 fire damage per hit, meaning he was taking 1100 fire damage every time he hit the mob. He ate a Flame Shock -> Thorns damage -> Fire Volley = dead.
On second viewing he actually just got absolutely demolished by his own teammates. He ate a flame shock with Buffet up which is bad enough, but adding 1000 damage onto the Volley which should have been interrupted by the TWO druids(Why is the feral DPSing there?), it can also be gouged by rogues btw.
That paladin at the end tried so hard to keep everyone alive so they could escape.
No threat meter hardcore is so crazy to me

Love how most deaths in Hardcore WoW are just people not paying attention to their threat meters lol

I got same death by dreadblanchy before, I defeated him like 3 times. In my death even I have rend on him I took damage from somewhere else
i only use quest helper and damage meter and very orcasional some niche addon for specific class. its worked fine for me

Righteous Orbs are a required mat for things like Crusader.
13:39 It looks like that hunter has a stack of 7 Hi-Explosive bombs right below Wing Clip. And they aren't on cooldown.. and they have a 3 yd radius with stun.. and also has Deterrence off cooldown.. TF.. USE YOUR RESOURCES!!

During unofficial HC, a lot of players also agreed to not help each other. This was more for streamers, IMO, but a lot of players also use this rule. So outside of dungeons and raids most HC play is done completely solo “for the glory” which is what playing HC is already about.
