So disappointing to see the price tag and yet how basic it is. TRD trim levels should always have the sliding rear window, power seats, and bed outlets. Toyota created a newer version that somehow needed up more basic than the 3rd gen….. unless you pay even more than the already higher price.
I'm waiting for my Taco sport underground with premium package and I'm not going to complain about price. It is what it is. If the you tube complainers don't like it go buy a used junk of junk. Can't wait to get mine!!!

Annd too Small and Gutless to get any actual work done .😢 And for the Ridiculous price it's no wonder the Maverick is outselling it. It's Amazing they make this truck in Pearl White (Which looks Absolutely Gorgeous)yet the only ones you see are Ice Cap. Also if you buy this Truck you have to get the Premium Sport Package + $8,620 well worth the money.

@@theebalz Both the Ford Ranger engines are turbocharged... you aren't getting away from turbos by going to Ford... Besides, Toyota has had turbo engines in non-US markets for decades now. Turbocharging is not new to Toyota. With that said, both the older Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl non turbo engines, as well as 6 cyl are known for their reliability.
@joearnold1843 I don't want additional parts I have to maintain. If Toyota wants to put a 250k engine & tranny warranty on these I'll reconsider. However tge tried and true normally aspirated V8 was a MUCH better engine. FORD give you the option. TOYOTA does NOT!

Always a good review but once again almost 45,000 dollars for a 4 cylinder 2 wd drive truck is gonna slow the sales of these trucks. So disappointing.
The new Tacoma is so much better than the 3rd generation. I got one in order.

All that money... no power seats or remote start. That's insane.
It looks to me like the hood scoop has pockets that will trap water. If so, that is a terrible design. I would not buy a Sport for that reason alone
