In this video, I review PopChart's list of 100 essential novels. This includes classic novels, American classics, and modern classics that I recommend you read! Which of these books have you read? Many of these books cover religion and history, specifically those of the US, the South, and the Midwest states. One of these books was ranked second only to the Bible!!

Middlesex is fantastic! Eugenides’ writing is stellar
I read a lot of Graham Greene's novels when I was in my late teens ... and recently revisited End of the Affair and found it as powerful as I remember it when I first read it all those years ago. If you ever read it, would be interested in what you think. I also really loved Heart of the Matter and Power and the Glory.
Great Expectations 🤩
The Great Gatsby 🤩
Middlemarch 🤩
Heart of Darkness 🤩
Mrs Dalloway 🤩
Congratulations on launching your business 🎉❤ So nice to see you appear on my feed!! 😊It was fun going through this list with you. I have definitely read less of these than I thought I would have. 📚 I know this wasn’t on here but East of Eden by John Steinbeck is one I think you might like. Quite a gritty and messy book but I loved it.
Thank you so much Charlie! So nice to hear from you 💕
Watching your book videos reduces my stress. Good to see you again on RUclips :)

I've read 24. There's quite a few I'd like to read but a few I probably wouldn't. A few I've read more than once, such as The Handmaid's Tale.
I read Gone with the Wind many years ago when I was a teenager, I wonder if it would still seem as good, views have progressed in huge leaps since then.
I reread Anne Frank's diaries recently and still as poignant as when I read them as a teenager, if not more so.
Midnight's Children and Middlemarch I really need to get to.
Happy Reading.
29/100! I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't like On the Road. I keep hearing people rave about it, but I just can't see it.
The books that interest me the most from the list are Gilead and Beloved.
Since I know you like magical realism, I'd push One Hundred Years of Solitide in your hands.😅I'd really be interested in what you think of it. It's probably one of my favourite books of all time.
100 years of solitude going onto the tbr! - thanks Lana!
Treat yourself to the 1995 tv adaptation of Pride & Prejudice ❤
To the Lighthouse
The Grapes of Wrath
Wide Sargasso Sea
One Hundred Years of Solitude
The Shipping News
Gilead
